Video helped me make my wife think I knew exactly what I was doing thank you
lol
Phenomenal video editing! Thank you so much- very helpful-- detailed enough to provide added value, but not annoyingly slow!
Wow I watch a lot of how to videos but this one just amazes me. Great work. I absolutely loved watching this and it put my mind to ease on the installation process.
Great video. That helped a lot. Thank you. I used a hack saw and miter box on mine. Cutting the top bar was a nightmare. Next time will definitely purchase an angle grinder and diamond blade.
Thank you very much my friend. Delta did not provide any instructions. Without your help I wouldn't have been able to install the doors
I watched this video this morning and installed the doors this afternoon. Delta has good instructions but this is a great video and definitely worth the time to watch it! I recommend that anyone doing this job get a diamond-tipped bit if you are drilling porcelain tile, they are worth the extra cost. If you are not good with a diamond-tipped bit cut yourself a templated from a piece of plywood or watch a video on how to use one and practice on some scrap tile or you may damage your tile. Also, the Delta instructions that were in my package say drill a 3/16 hole in the tile but that is not correct it is 5/16, hopefully, they have corrected that in the instruction book.
Do you have the Delta model number and where you bought it? I need to replace my old shower doors. Thanks.
That looks like a nice professional installation.
Great video!
Caulking tip for DIYers: buy an electric caulking tool. They are worth every penny.
Wow! Wonderfully made video on how to install sliding shower doors! You were very detailed and clear on how to install each component. After watching your video, which I thank you for taking the time to put together, I now feel confident about installing it myself. Thanks again for your informative video. I really appreciate it!
My door did not come with written instructions. You video was great, it worked perfect for me. Thank you for going slowly.
Very good layout, step by step, easy installation.
Great video! Thank you for all of the close-ups and explanations.
Great video, I will be using this to install the same shower in my bathroom this weekend, very detailed video great job.
Nice job!
thanks. with this video i installed the shower door
Thanks man this really home out a lot. 👍🏿👍🏿
Terrific job! Thank you for sharing this video!

Excellent video !
Thank you you save my life today
Good tutorial video. Thanks
Excellent, very simple video the way you explain it, thank you for the help.
Thank you. This helped a lot.
Thank you, did it just the way you did ,very helpful.
Thank you this really helped
Gracias . Roberto el paso tx.
Thank you, great video, helped me out big time!
I watched your video several times before installing my shower doors I added two screws at the top rail at either end though and I added a 3-inch screw into my sill beneath the door guides on the bottom rail
thanks buddy that was far better then using the paper instructions
Very good & handy man!
Great .!!! Thank you so much .
Thanks very helpful
Thank you for this video help me a lot
Great, easy to follow video. I had a very similar Delta door "professionally" installed last year but the doors are very wobbly when you slide them. It's very loud and annoying, I feel like I'm risking breaking the glass .
Do you know if it was attached to a stud?
@@amr254 yes, so was the previous one.
Great video! Thanks
Nice job buddy
Great video mate!!!
Thank you
Very well detailed video 🙏👍
Thank you very much, your video helped me a lot
Tks very helpful
For ones that are not really good on a neat caulking job, create a channel for the caulk to be applied with two strips of painters tape at desired width. Remove the tape after the caulk becomes fairly firm BUT HAS NOT CURED COMPLETELY. This will minimize any "ripping " of the caulk's edges and give a nice clean uniform appearance. Tape removal after the caulk has cured completely might result in a " jagged ripped " looking appearance.
So, I keep on getting ridges when i pull the tape....are you saying that this is a symptom of pulling the tape too soon? I'm at the end stages of a bathroom renovation and caulking has been frustrating
@@robrero After you put tape and applied silicon use your finger to push silicon, then remove the tape right away, clean your finger and use it again on silicon to make it smooth and remove lines of silicon left with tape. If you don't do that you will end up with 2 higher lines of silicon, one on each side.
This really helped me install my door! Thank you!
I had mine installed by a contractor and it leaks, I love the shower but there is nothing that keeps it from running under to glass to the outside of frame what am i missing he said he caulked it
That invisible coating should be facing into the shower as it shows on the stickers, I see a lot of people not paying attention
Great video, only one thing missing. Make sure the surface is leveled....
Excellent video, does the holes have ro hit the studs? Is the tile strong enough to hold the door
Great video. Well done mahesh. I want add one important point: drilling tile is very difficult with normal drill. Please use high impact high RPM hammer drill and those holes become easy. Thank you!
Great info, thanks.
What model number is that door?
Thanks for the video. I am in the middle of the installation process and I am a little bit worried about the bottom track not being secured to the curb of the shower. The installation guide doesn't include any screw to fix the bottom track and I don't feel comfortable relying only on the silicon applied in the channel under it. In your video (9:47) one can also see that the bottom track is kind of wobbling up and down. It moves up and down as you press on it. Putting just silicon at the edges will keep the track steady and it won't be enough to stop water entering under the track. I believe that this is why a lot of customers in their reviews are complaining about water splashing out of the shower. Honestly, I am thinking of putting at least two screws through the track into the curb to make it stable and prevent any gaps between the track and the tiles of the curb. My curb is made out of concrete bricks so there shouldn't be any damage if moisture gets through the screws. Your opinion?
If you silicon the base track on both side it will be enough to hold it
Good idea, you can fill holes with lots of silicon before putting the screws, that way water doesn't get inside bricks.
Door Leaks @ the bottom near the by pass door base
What kind of drill you got cause me takes me for ever to drill through tiles
wish you had shown how to mount the mirror onto the frame
Is this the dude from "No country for old men"?
I did everything the way the instructions that came with the shower doors and your video and the inside glass door is hitting at the bottom corner on the metal frame
Great instructional video! Where did you buy your drill bit? It seemed to drill through the tile effortless.
Thank you! amzn.to/3LWleL7
Do these doors or top rack include rollers? This was the only piece I didn't see. Thank you.
Yes they come with the glass doors
Thanks for the video, the bottom base rail should also have caulking which will help secure that rail a little more to the floor. Otherwise it will move on the one side like shown in the video. The glass also has a particular side which goes in and out, as well as that wheel slide attached to the glass.
How to get it back on the delta if it comes off ?
how does the water get out of the bottom rail? this is the problem we are having with ours and the fact the builder did not put the doors on good either UGH!
What laser is that? Thanks
Hi if i have 55"W shower what size it have to be the door?
My Handels hit each other while opening.. any advice
Which door do you use to come out of the shower ? 😳
Tips on cutting off the top rail? I want to get the same cut off tool. Will a diamond wheel be best to cut? Surprised there were no sparks
Good question, I used this cutting wheel - not a sponsor:
3 in. Metal Cut Off Wheel (3-Pack)
www.homedepot.com/p/306599198
I used a 32TPI hack saw... Works just fine
Does any one know the difference between the Delta Simplicity and the Lyndall model?
Great video, can you please lest the laser level you used?
Here is the link, not a sponsor and I paid full retail on the laser. It demands batteries but works well:

Thaks.
When showering does it matter if the outside door is closed towards the shower head or the other end in regards to water exiting the shower? Or does it not matter which way any door is closed during showering?
Yes it matters. The inside door needs to be towards the shower head. The water needs to run off one door and overlap onto the next door. If they are in the wrong order water will shoot between the two doors.
Just this installed by a ( handyman ). First the door had a gap on both sides when fully open, the gap gets wider towards the middle and even more at the bottom. He adjusted it, but now the door doesn't stay shut and slides open, leaving a gap at both ends. Any suggestions on what he did wrong!
Umm how much to buy it
Do we put silicone on the side rails?
I did
Hello. What lazer level did you use?
amzn.to/3tPD8Y6
Please give me the link to the brand or kind of laser level you used
Not sponsored. It consumes batteries faster than I expected but it worked well. @@ToolsReview thank you very much
Sir Tell me height measurement please
Is it frameless shower door?
Not this model
That sucks you had to drill the pilot holes through the frames. As much as they're charging for these, delta should be putting the holes in them. That's a joke. The one I did for my parents had them predrilled

Whoever installed this in my building must have watched this video because he didn't use a level and is so far off changing roller position doesn't help.
The handles are so loose and floppy no matter how you adjust them :(
The video is not detailed enough. Some of the essential steps were overlooked.
Laser light. Give me a break.
You did all this work and forgot the most important part is hanging the two doors without breaking them . ??
Quite frustrating
crap job on that sill. spend the c-note and do that better
Darn little to none instructions on attaching the bottom track to the shower pan. No screw holes are in the bottom track molding, so i'm guessing that you lay a bead calk to stick this track to the shower pan??? For this reason i give this video a minus rating!
Video was more enjoyable on mute
Thank you
