It is in terms of the amount of players they'd have to send out to make it work financially. I think the bigger question is if they'd have to include first-round pick compensation along with Kuminga.
Butler is too old. If he was 28-31, then the Dubs would for sure make the trade. It would gut the team, and for sure involve a 3-4 team trade. Bulter and no bench for what? Trade a 21-year-old Kuminga who will get better and Wiggs who is playing great right now. Loone is the only Dub that rebounds like a top-notch player. I would be surprised (as well as the rest of the NBA community). Schroder is a very good player; arguably the best player on the floor at the 2023 World Cup. Let it ride and see what happens. But, if you want to make a trade, it has to be for a younger player if you are giving up that many assets.
I’m not particularly fond of the Warriors bringing in Schroder just as a means to add depth to an already pretty deep roster. That’s good for keeping them afloat in the regular season, but playoff outlook is still the same. As for Butler, I’m with you. I wouldn’t like it either given his age but it seems in line with the kind of move they’d make. He might be the best and only All Star that gets moved this season
WE DONT WANT BUTLER. What we need is a stretch 5
This was interesting, thank you. 👍🙏
You’re welcome! Just doing my best!
That’s giving up way too much for Jimmy.
