Wow...filing the wrong charges to get people off the hook is the new tactic now? These people need to be charged with some kind of disruption, not tresspassing.
Doesn’t the city council meeting have time allotments for people to speak? If so why were these individuals making a protest out of it? Why not use the time allowed to make their plea heard in a diplomatic and clear way in the way provided?
It will be dismissed and then tax payers will pay out the lawsuit. You can’t be trespassed from a public building during a public meeting. The USSC has already ruled on this issue. They can be cited for disruption of the meeting and arrested for that violation but they cannot be trespassed.

Can’t be trespassed from public property unless you committed a crime..what was the crime?

Are City Council meetings Public or not public? If they don't want the public to speak, they should admit this.
