one of the most underrated bands of the 80's. Saw them three times. Loved them. it's sad that radio dictated success so much back then. Burning, Somewhere in your heart, Hang on for your life, Flesh and blood. All should be well known classics.
I get ya...I didn't much care for it in the 80's but over the last decade I've listened to it more and now I can't stop listening to it. Getting older I guess.
Underrated band and song of their time. I still have all of the vinyl offerings from this band tucked away somewhere, bought this album when I was 19y/o, it's just the same as all of SS's music, a timeless delight. Their lyrics really make you think, particularly this one. live life to the fullest, before it's too late.
Absolutely breathtaking. I know several Songs of Shooting Star, but I never heard this one before ... unbelievable that I didn't discover it earlier. Definitely the best song of this band I have ever heard ! Very Close to Rik Emmett of Triumph and Steve Perry of Journey :o), even the music style reminds me of these two bands. Voice is absolutely perfect !
This is NOT a remaster as the credits say. This mix is actually worse than the original commercial recording. This is such a good album it deserves a true remastering.
Remember driving from Lawrence to KC with five pounds allegedly. This was on tape...the driver died a few months ago of covid. He would say at concerts, Rock my Bones....eternal epic summer. Their concert was after finals around xmas. Party bk at frat hs. Sex, drugs, booze....hard to top.

I have 500 cds. this is top 5. The cd is really clear they remasted of an unplayed album. Get it and all others. You will be glad.
