In this video, we'll explore the unknown by hiking in Northern Laos! This hike is not only beautiful, but it's also dangerously overgrown and unmaintained. However, despite the risks, we're determined to see the beauty of this remote corner of the world.
Come along on our adventure as we explore the lush landscape and find amazing nature highlights. Will we make it to the top of the mountain? Or will we fail and learn some valuable lessons about taking risks in the pursuit of adventure? Tune in to find out!
We did some research on Google Maps and found a hike to our liking, only to figure out later that there were three pinpoints with the same name.
Starting out on this hike was easy, the beginning went smoothly and was well-maintained... But after a while, it kept getting steeper and the path was just disappearing in general, clearly not maintained for several years.
A hike to remember and we made the best of it!

The lack of a path and coming darkness made my anxiety go up!
Well that's why we chose to go back a bit earlier. Heading on was not the wise move to make in that scenario. We're alive and kicking 😉
