You can laser just about anything but be careful about dangerous materials. Lasering PVC emits pure chlorine gas. Lasering ABS plastic emits cyanide gas.
Hi Sarah, I bought an LP 2 a few weeks ago, to make things to sell at craft fairs I attend, and love it. The biggest downfall is the total lack of instructions regarding settings for different projects. This video and the one on cutting with the LP 2 have given me more information than any other I have watched. Thank you so much and I will be watching the rest of the Playlist. I have subscribed and hit the bell so looking forward to seeing your other videos. Take care Sarah and I hope you and you family have a great Christmas and a Happy New Year. Cheers, Huw
This makes me remember discovering what a Magic Marker could do back when I was five years old. I put my name on everything in the house. Got a memorable punishment out of it.
Just discoverd the LP2 and want one! Your video is very informative and so inspiring! Can you use this in your home or does it give off too much odor or unsafe gases?? Ive heard and seen that the bigger kader machines need to be enclosed and vented ourside. I would want to use this inside my house or other enclosed rooms.
I prefer to use this outside as yes it does create fumes. Take a look at my video with the xTool F1, I use it in my home with the air purifier: ruclips.net/video/gtXJGqJmRxU/видео.html Laser www.xtool.com/products/xtool-f1?ref=zZ1xJxidcQmE7h&
Hi, it’s fairly quick, obviously depending if it’s eg 40mm wide or 100mm but LP are much quicker than my flat bed lasers. My preference for engraving on metal is a powder coated metal so you really get a contrast and the design stands out more. But I have etched metal for a few other uses, I must get round to putting a video together, thanks and good luck
Do you have the settings for LP4 for stainless steel? I can’t center it, is there a guide for centering? Also, can we safely see the blue preview square without glasses or no? And the red dots ? Thanks! I’m new to this.
Thanks for the plethora of useful tips, although I personally prefer labelling with my LP1, it's much easier to hold, using the included tripod for levelling and maintaining correct height. I find the LP2 is a bit of a dead weight when engraving anything in a vertical orientation for any length of time. Or maybe I'm just getting too old. 😉
I get that, I don’t have the LP1 so can’t compare. I now have the LP4 which is fab but bigger again. I see they are also bringing out another LX1! Thanks
I made that when I first started using it and it’s not essential as you can easily use the framing beam, to make this I engraved a square, each time increasing in size at the required intervals, thanks
Hi this is lovely presentation. unfortunately my LP2 app screen looks nothing like yours also i do not have any material presets as on yours....are you using an LP pro or have you managed to upgrade your software in some way. the images included with my machine and the software options seem very limited
Hi John, it will all come right soon I am sure and find a way around everything. Strange that the interface is different. Although with my new LP4 some of it is now in Chinese on my new mobile that I use with the app. Changes that will soon be ironed out by LP I am sure. The image library can easily be added to, either create them and import to device photo library or search for things on the web and save to photos and there you have a large range to use. If you don’t have the presets then I’d do a few tests and then write these down to be able to repeat next time. Thanks for watching and more coming soon, all the best, let me know how it goes, Sarah

I’ve seen people engrave on silicone, I must try too
Yes please do a video on it thank you
Fantastic video! Does this laser happen to work well on sterling silver?
Thanks, I’ve not actually tried silver yet
What app do you use to create your own image on the iPad?
I use procreate, thanks for watching
Can you print logos from this like Mercedes’ and Audi logos or is it limited what you can print
Any image that you can import into the ap you can use, so on my phone I save the logo or image in my pictures, I can then use this yes.
Are those clips of it engraving in real time or sped up?
the majority are real time, it's faster than most flat bed lasers
good video
Thanks for the visit
Does one need 3rd party software to for own designs or does this engraver allow you to use theirs?
So to make this work you need to use the laser pecker app, you can import any design of your choice into the app to create anything you wish. Thanks
@@RedRockingBird Thanks so very much! I think that was the last thing I needed to know, to make up my mind!

How much import tax did you pay? looking to invest in one but don't want any surprises...i'm uk.
