On vacation as a kid I used to be in love with all the trucks we would pass on the interstate. I always wanted to drive a big rig. At almost 39 I’m contemplating changing my career and getting on the open road. This looks way too appealing.

Truck driving around the world really is what keeps those countries running. I've driven old school trucks, some where no guages worked, and had to listen to the old girls engine to know when to change gear, and their squeaks, moans and groans, also had a stint at driving automatic buses which was a new experience (I recognised those buttons on the dash in the Mack , similar to the Scania articulated and rigid buses), but these new Macks are incredible. It is good to see that this truck manufacturer has taken safety and comfort seriously, to help the driver get the load to the destination as easily and efficiently as possible. The drivers will always WANT to come to work driving these rigs. Drive Safe guys.
Thanks Chris for the excellent professional work you do filming and interviewing over the road truck drivers. I am a retired long haul truck driver that did it in an eye catching Peterbilt and watching your videos are very enjoyable and have me wishing I was back in the drivers seat at times. Thanks again!!
This would be a dream job! As a veteran driver of 21 years, I'd give anything to drive one of those rigs! In the mean time, I'll keep trucking along as a local driver. With the amount of drivers that would love to have this job, I'm sure I'll never get the opportunity to drive one of these rigs.

When the Anthem came out, I din't really like the look, but hearing what those guys had to say and watching the unveiling of them, I'm really liking them. They are really good looking rigs.
I’m surprised someone didn’t fire up their linear and start messing around while they were trying to talk on CB. Always happens most places I been.
I drive by that building quite often for my job and never really knew what they did for NASCAR there. Love the videos. Keep up the awesome work.

Yeah it's definitely a lot of work but your with the best of the best! Most of us drool when we see those Nascar Transport haulers coming through. Always beautiful trucks. They have those new Mack truck land trains in Australia grossing 150,000 lbs plus and they're automatics. No pain no strain! That new Mack engine is a beast!Another great video Chris👍

I have drove a truck for almost 22 years...about 6 years ago i delivered a load of motor oil to joe gibbs racing....awesome experience....they backed me into the shop beside kyle's transporter and unloaded me. Would love to drive for nascar!
Them automatic Mack's are great! The paving company I worked for a few summers ago had an automatic Mack. I fell in love with it!

Driving for nascar would be a dream job
My coworkers know me as a trucking geek, so for my 50th birthday they got togehter and bought me the LEGO Technic MACK Anthem, what an awesome truck/model/build :-)
That's one Occupation I wished I could have done, being a Owner Owner Operator with a nice Truck & Trailer. When I was a kid going up and down I-20 East & West me and my Brother claiming the best looking Trucks. I have friends that Drives trucks for a living.......the Best Vacation places across America.
@8:13 one of those Macks would be the prefect candidate to be the Rubber Duck's truck in a Convoy remake.

I have to say seeing these rigs on here makes me happy since I live 30 min from allentown and 45 min from the Mack plant so I have to say thank you for the content you put in the videos
I can't believe what a grate job these drivers have. Putting all there skills and knowledge to speak about what they think of there job really interesting to listen to
And here I sitting in Sweden and watching those trucks, and I don't even have a drivning licens for it.

what an awesome video, everytime I go out to Texas Motor Speedway I visit the haulers. Just love seeing these trucks and talking with the drivers and other crewmen, their technology center is huge. The guys from champion tire fleet are awesome too!! Would definitely like to work for Nascar

after seeing this it makes me wonder if maybe you should do a similar videos about drivers who haul for music tours, the trucks the coaches that sort of thing?
"Rock Box Drivers" My buddy Steve used to drive a rock box 18 wheeler for Xtreme Transport and Roadshow.
He didn't mind being gone for 3 to 4 months at a time and crossing the US & Canada. Paid very well.

We had auto boxs since 2013 in the UK i'm not a fan of US trucks but i do like the KW 900L and what is with that Mack wow that's so good looking even my friend Ryan who is in the Dutch air force loves the look of them be4 i saw it i was thinking the T680 was very good looking keep it up Andy...

Nothing built like a Volvo......lol. all new Mack's motors are volvos. Transmission is rebadged Volvo I shift. Still bloody nice gear tho
Rondal Simonds...No matter what class 8 on-highway engine made today,At some point early or late you will have DPF or regen issues compared to the good old powerplants....Fact

Just a FYI, IMSA is hiring for a driver. Similar to this but fewer events.
Yeah I spend extra time getting parked as a newer driver. Getting it in without crunching equipment makes everyone's life easier. I'll wave guys through a gap before I try to rush getting parked. No one wants that wakeup bump just because I'm a newb.

Generally, i prefer old school rigs, but those Mack trucks are really cool!!!
Will miss the shifting but automatic does help pay attention to the road. Its rare you shift to manual. It's good to have when going down hills
