I got this app to convert older video formats to more current mp4 and avi. I was told in the app that the feature was locked behind the pro version but after I bought the pro version it distorted the video format. I contacted support and after a month of going back and forth was told that the app wont do the job correctly. So I asked for a refund. Well they dont give refunds unless there is a technical issue with the program that cant be resolved in 30 days and since they wont admit that anything is a technical issue with the program they wont provide a refund. Long sdtory short, dont buy the pro version.
I agree that VSDC is a great free video editor and I have been using it for a number of years now. It has a lot of wonderful features of which I use only a few. One con that I want to make known is that they always like to remove popular features and add them to the paid versions!!! An example is the audio replacement function which is now only available in the paid versions. The next feature they are going to remove is the zoom function. No wonder it cannot be the no. 1.
Since it has a free version, I thought that the paid one would be as expensive as others, but it costs about €22... What I don't know is if the license is for life, or if it is for a year and then it stops updating or if it expires directly. Edit: It is important to mention that hardware acceleration is available in the paid version (Nvidia, AMD, Intel)
I will say this, I have been using Vsdc for years now. The hardware acceleration was not a think until recently. I used to be able to render 2 minute videos super quick, but all the sudden, rendering speed is throttled behind a paywall. As well as soundwave forms, they used to be standard but now are only a part of pro, so dont even think about lining up video and audio on the free version. And it is a yearly subscription. THEY ARE NOT CLEAR ABOUT THIS. I do not see anywhere on the vsdc pro page that it is a subscription and the only thing that tells me that it is a sub, Is at the very bottom of the page where you enter your payment info, there is a small box to click the says "Enable auto-renewal for this order". I personally am not a fan of the lack of transparency as well. I feel odd complaining because it is so cheap, but I just do not like the shady sales tactics. 4:05 this guy claims that there is very little difference between pro and free and I am seeing this less and less and according to other comments Ive read, This is all par for the course of the company that owns vsdc.
@@RickDrift Exactly! It's very shady. There's not a word about a subscription service when you're upgrading to pro, they purposely want you to believe that it's a one time purchase. Their support does not respond to your contact requests after they've gotten your money. Avoid this company and product!
Iv started using VSDC but everytime i try to upload a video to RUclips, it keeps giving me a quota warning which doesnt allow me to upload my video, anyone know how to fix this??
Make sure your account has a verified phone number and stuff. If you don’t verify a phone number, you can only upload videos up to 7 minutes long or something
I've looked at some reviews on the site, many people say it's malware, adware, trojans, etc. (for example windows defender warning them about a file called something along the lines of: something.trojan.generic.exe)
Here's a full Tutorial for anyone who wants to learn how to edit in VSDC!: ruclips.net/video/FqNjH-acbbY/видео.html
i seen that it was breached by chinese hackers and they are using java script to remotely access computers

It's better to just export your video and then upload it via RUclips. All "uploading" software is pure bullshit.
So is the pro version free?
Unfortunately it is not, right now I believe that it is going for $19.99
@@EJTech. aw ok ty tho
That's not free i guess... We need to buy it ri8?
VSDC has a free version
I think filmora still owns the top
I wouldn’t say so because for what you pay you really aren’t getting very great software, it’s simple but not very good for proper short films
Salo Export ke liye Pro karna parega.
This is NOT easy to use.
