Looks like a cool little charger. I'm surprised it didn't charge the ultra. Most third party chargers charge Samsung phones a little slower, but do still charge.
Alright, Kevin. Yes, the size of this thing is great, especially for a phone that basically hides it when placed on it. I’m also really surprised that the S23 didn’t charge. Saying that, I’ve been sent quite a few wireless chargers to review on Amazon and the odd charges on phone but not another. Go figure. Cheers, Dave.
@@DavidHarry I have a cheap wireless charger that doesn't charge the Samsung fold 4 at its full rate. I don't mind too much as it just sits on my desk charging in the background. It's more of a stand than anything else. Just annoying the qi standard isn't followed by everyone. Kevin
Alright, Tone. I’m actually thinking about doing a quick video explaining why you should always use original chargers. The main reason is that if you have a phone under warranty and it gets damaged by a third party charger, I doubt Samsung or Apple would honour the warranty. However, if it’s one of their own chargers that’s done the damage, then they’d have to accept that it’s one of their products at fault. Samsung and Apple can easily tell what’s caused the problem if any of their products have been damaged through charging and if it’s been one of their chargers, they’d know when examining them. I’m not saying that all 3rd party chargers are potentially bad or dangerous. But some of those mass produced “no name” brands are definitely using inferior components and dodgy manufacturing. Also. If someone has paid $1000 for a phone, then paying $15 for a 3rd party charger instead of $30 for an official one just seems mad. I personally wouldn’t take the risk with expensive tech items. And yes, I have had issues in the past with 3rd party chargers, although, luckily what they were charging didn’t get damaged. Cheers, Dave.
