If we look at the Christians and Jews, they have no such concept and no Prophet ever had this sort of 12 Imams concept. Rather we find that within Judasim, is the concept of the names of Allah. For example Elowhim, Eloh, Alaha, and Yahweh. There are like soem other hebrew names but I forgot about them. Secondly with regards to the claim of 12 Imams in Bukhari, it mentions 12 Caliphs from Quraysh whom under their rule, Islam will be strong. This includes some rulers from Banu Umayyad cus not all of them were tyrants and Banu Umayyad is from Quraysh.

@@abuabbas3695 No actually there is a concept of 'twelve followers' that Isa (a.s) had according to Christianity, in where he chose twelve people who could follow him in his last times.
And we're talking about Islam here, not Christianity or Judaism. To compare our religion to those is not right, because it's normal to have differences of belief.
@@mrsheart2015 Isa had disciples and there were 12 disciples. the Quran praises the disciple but doesnt mention the count. isa didnt have a select special club of 12. it was just 12 jews followed him and became his disciples. Secondly I'm talking about Usool al Deen [foundation of the religion]. all the messengers had come with Tawheed and ordered their ppl to pray and sum ordered them to fast. they came with same foundation but ppl deluded their religion. what I'm asking is simple. prove to me this concept of Imamism within the teachings of the Prophet of the old or a clear Quran verse where allah says he has established 12 leaders over us. I don't neccerially need Hadith to make my foundation ofAqeedah. hadith is needed for Fiqh.
ahlus Sunnah what do we call to? worship Allah alone and follow the Prophet. this is the teaching of all the Prophets upon them peace. nothing about 12 divinely appointed saints. yes each ummah had different Fiqh and Sharia but even then it was similar.
even within religions like Hinduism we hear about a guy called kalki. kalki is called seal and he is the last avatar/prophet/messenger. kalki would be born in sanctuary and then later made to leave. he would fight a battle of little deaths [ahzab] and later come back and conquer that sanctuary. the Prophet muhammad was called seal of Prophets and was born in the sanctuary of makkah and was later made to leave. he later came back and conquered Makkah. you know who was the first avatar/messenger in hinduism? some guy called matysa who is associated with a global flood. sounds alot like how Nuh is first messenger [adam is first Prophet but adam is not a messenger] and the flood mentioned in Surah nuh.
@@abuabbas3695 1. Not everything is written in the Quran. For example important things such as the method of prayer which we do everyday, is nowhere to be mentioned in Quran. However, I can bring you many traditions even from your books to prove Imamate.
Jabir Ibn Samarah said, “I heard from Messenger of Allah (S), ‘People’s affairs are managed well so long as twelve people rule them.’ Then the Prophet (S) said something that I could not hear. I asked my father what the Prophet said. He told me that Prophet Muhammad (S) said, ‘All of them are from Quraysh.’

Sammak Ibn Harb has quoted Jabir Ibn Samarah who said, “I heard from Prophet Muhammad (S), ‘Islam will be honored as long as twelve caliphs will rule the Muslims.’ The Messenger of Allah (S) then said something that I did not hear. I asked my father about it and he said, ‘The Prophet (S) stated, ‘All of them will be from Quraysh.’”

‘amir Ibn Sa’d Ibn Abi Waqqas said, “I wrote a letter and sent it to Jabir Ibn Samarah by my slave Nafi’. I asked him to inform me of what he had heard from messenger of Allah (S). Prophet Muhammad (S) has declared the existence of twelve righteous caliphs from Quraysh after himself. They will honor Islam and the Muslims as rulers. The researchers know well that this number of caliphs is not compatible with caliphs of Rashidin, the Umayyid, Bani Marwan, the Abbasid, or combining some of them with some others. The only twelve-caliphs that remain are the Imamiyyah infallible Imams (a.s.), who are all from Quraysh.
Abdullah Ibn Abbas said, “I heard from Messenger of Allah (S), ‘In addition to me, Ali, Hasan, Husayn, and nine people from Husayn’s progeny are purified and infallible.’”

Imam Hasan Ibn Ali (a.s.) has quoted from the Messenger of Allah (S), “The number of Imams after me will be as the number of the Israelite leaders and apostles of Jesus (twelve). Anyone who likes them is believer and anyone who dislikes them is hypocrite. They are Allah’s Hujjats for the people and like flags of guidance.”

Then Sadiq; Ja’far Ibn Muhammad, then Al-Kadhim; Musa Ibn Ja’far, then Ridha’; Ali Ibn Musa, then Taqi; Muhammad Ibn Ali, then Naqi; Ali Ibn Muhammad, then Zakiyy; Hasan Ibn Ali, and then his son Qa’im; Mahdi, who will fill the earth with justice as it would filled with injustice. O Jabir! These are my successors, caliphs, sons, and the ‘Itrat. Everyone who obeys them has obeyed me and everyone who denies one or all of them has denied me. The heaven does not collapse on the earth nor does the earth swallow its occupants for their sake.”
