I used Aerith Heart’s guide to get started with mythic plus and it was awesome for it, but for some reason I could not find a proper raid healing guide for prevoker…until now! I absolutely love my Pres Evoker!! It's a super underrated spec (the range limitation being a barrier of entry for some), that has strong burst healing and hot healing. I feel like, preservation evoker has the most complete toolkit of any of the other evoker specs. Easy to play to play and hard to master, lots of min maxing!! I personally always run with a reversion build, especially after the update to it. Playing the reversion build is like playing a fighter game, building up your combos then spending them. I feel like I always have a tool to every problem in both mythic plus and raid. If you run with a hybrid reversion and fire breath build for mythic plus, you also do super damage and healing, but don't always have to stop damaging to heal. It's such a fun spec to play and looking forward to Chronowarden hero talents and season 4 reversion tier set!! Also to mention, your videos are always top notch amazing! Very clear, concise, and in depth!! Keep doin yo thang!!
100% agree with you man! It is really fun and engaging. Blizzard has unfortunately not done a great job in making the spec accesible to more people as it is quite difficult to wrap your head around to begin with. I really hope it gets a strong comeback in season 4 and War Within, just feels bad that the newest hero class is so unpopular and is currently the least played healer in the game. Explains the low view count on this video too lol. I have hopes though! Appreciate you, let’s keep the Preservation Evoker dream alive!
@@ValiathGaming You hit the nail in the head, :(. I'm hopping Blizzard shows some more love to it's new hero spec, it's in a great place just with some rough edges. It just needs some quality of life improvements and maybe a rework to a few of its spells/spec tree to make it more accessible and easier to play. The changes to reversion were definitely a step in the right direction. Hoping for more soon!! Your vid might not have a huge amount of views but it will for sure! Your content is top notch!! And videos like this, which explains how the spec works, helps so many others get into a fun class with a lot more confidence!! You rock!

The skill ceiling of it is still higher than big blossom though so keep that in mind.
It feels like you semi-dislike the blossom build. Mostly because of the RNG but the game priorities those who need healing more. I didn't hear you state this ever in this guide. (Sorry if I missed you saying that) So, it is not like it jumps to someone with full health. (Unless everyone is already capped out). Then in that sense, it is just overhealing and you have no control over that. However, I don't see that really much of a burden and other healers are pulling their weight. I would say blossom build is a great starting raid spec to learn the class and understand what spells do, then move to echo build as you climb difficulties.
Hello! I actually ran the blossom build the entirety of last tier and had a great time with it. It may not have been explicitly said in the video, but the blossom build is for “beginners” and the Echo build more so for skilled and experienced healers with the class. I say the blossom build is significantly easier to pick up and understand compared to the echo build out of the box, but it punishes the player harshly by being so mana inefficient. Yes, the spec and spells are easy to do, but if you don’t plan ahead and know when to NOT hit blossom, you will quickly run out of mana and become a useless healer.
