I am surprised that he has a Brazilian Portuguese accent. I thought he would sound British like a native speaker because of his father. I'm guessing he's been living in Brazil most of his life and learned English as a Foreign language. He is, indeed, fluent, which is absolutely amazing because only a very small percentage of Brazilians even speak English.

he was born in the US, and lived there for part of his childhood. after that,. he moved to brazil, but he’s never lived in the UK, so I don’t rlly get why you thought he’d have a british accent. he lives in NY atm, but he didn’t learn english as a second language, he’s actually learnt portuguese as a second language. hope I’ve helped
