    Thank you so much for this recipe! It looks very delicious and I will definitely recreate this - though I might replace that chunk of butter with thick cream or so. Not gonna lie, that amount of butter had me sweating even though it looks so satisfying 😂😆 Thank you!!!

    Haven't had it but I'm sure I'd love it. The point of the butter is to blend in with the red bean paste when you bite into it to create the sweet and creamy texture while chewing and biting on the more dry and crunchy texture of the matcha scone. Just remember this isn't an everyday meal but rather a treat to enjoy and experiment with once in a blue moon. It's probably very difficult for the west to culturally accept this combination of components but from my understanding and dining at many korean restaurants and cafes, butter is not a very common ingredient. So for some Koreans this is a delicacy; an experience. But again, not everyone is obligated to like it ✌🏻

      some said in the comment section tht that's how ang butter is supposed to be
      apparently it's to slices of scones with red bean paste and chunk of butter in it
      i searched it in the internet and tht person was right

      I had to rewind to make sure that said “butter” and not white chocolate. I was hoping it would be melted lol I’m good with a shmere of butter but that slab seems like a lot.

    You could probably spread a thin layer of butter (or margarine) on the top half of the scone. Some red bean paste have butter in the final stages to make the paste glossy.

    앙버터 말고 그냥 스콘으로 드실분들은 설탕 더 넣으세요! 그리고 녹차가루의 종류에 따라 조절해야할듯해요!! 저희 집껀 진한거다보니 엄청 진한맛이 나와버렸네요ㅜㅜ

      That’s how ang-butters are supposed to be. Ang-butters are basically putting butter slabs and red bean paste in bread, scones, dacquoise, etc. They are very popular in Japan and Korea, although I agree with the crying arteries😂

    Quick tip:- If you don't wanna use a lot of butter, you can use cream cheese in alternate.

    ANG-BUTTER (PASTA DE FRIJOLES ROJOS Y MANTEQUILLA) TARTA DE TÉ VERDE (MATCHA)
    00:09 ▶ Ingredientes
    200g de harina de repostería
    20g de té verde en polvo
    5g de polvo de hornear
    30g de azúcar
    2g de sal
    80g de mantequilla fría sin sal
    50g de huevo frío
    60g de leche fría
    Pasta de frijol rojo
    Mantequilla
    ▶ Receta
    1. Mezcle la harina, el té verde en polvo, el polvo de hornear, el azúcar y la sal, agregue la mantequilla fría sin sal y use un raspador para mezclar la mantequilla con la harina y pique hasta que queden trozos pequeños.
    2. Agregue el huevo y la leche fría, mezcle para formar una masa. Sáquela del recipiente y use un raspador para compactarla, córtela por la mitad y presiónela.
    3. Repita esto 3 - 4 veces. Luego colóquela en una envoltura de plástico, aplánela dándole forma cuadrada y déjela reposar en el congelador durante unos 30 minutos.
    4. Corte la masa con un cortador cuadrado de galleta de 5,5 cm, colocarla en un molde para horno, aplicarle la leche y hornear en un horno precalentado a 170ºC durante 23 a 25 minutos y deje enfriar.
    5. Corte los pasteles fríos por la mitad y rellénelos con pasta de frijoles rojos y mantequilla en el medio.

    반죽두께가 2cm는 되려나요....?
    반죽을 해보니 너무 질척거려서 우유를 15까지 줄였는데도 뭔가 약간 질척거리는 느낌이....
    그냥 계란30 우유 20 이렇게 해볼까 고민입니다
