The note about finishing the design elements before starting to animate really struck a chord as I’m currently switching between three different programs and my computer is overheating 😂😅. Will try to remember this for next project haha
🤣 yeah, I used to get too excited and start animating before designs were completely sorted and it always caused more trouble than it was worth. Way better to be able to focus on the animation completely when it's ready to animate and not have to reverse engineer design issues
Great video thanks so much! I was wondering if you use any particular addons mostly for AE, I'm a student and been looking at trying out Red Dragon (and cinema4D) and seeing what it can do and wondered if you had any experience with it?
thanks! I haven't used Red Dragon before, I actually haven't even heard of it! I use quite a few addons I suppose, like Trapcode, DUIK, Plexus, and a few other random ones. If I want to do 3d elements in combination with motion graphics in AE, I usually use blender for the 3d and then composite afterwards in AE
I want to be a freelance animator. Mainly for animated short films, I would like to have that as my main work for animation overall. How different would it be in terms of making the questionnaire to interactions with the client.
well, it would be pretty different because there are different requirements for short films. That would need to be more of an ongoing conversation with the client, and I'd suggest you ask to see a script first if possible. But you'd need to know duration, 2d or 3d, etc.
YOU HAVE A REAL GIFT TO MOTIVATE PEOPLE. GOD BLESS YOU! BRAVOOOOOOOOOO
Thank you !
Love this video Robyn! I don't think I've seen anyone go into as much detail for the whole freelance process.
Thanks Fabio!
We love it too! Great work Robyn.

How many design software have you learn?
just for design? I use Illustrator, Procreate and Photoshop
@@RobynO_O Do I need to learn more than illustrator and photoshop?
'Nice job team is out of sync' 😬
OMG I can't believe it, I checked the video so many times I don't know how I missed that 😑
