- I'm having fun with segmentation in this video. I am a self taught woodworker and learn as I go. I just decided that maybe I can inspire someone out there to give it a try too.
Thank you! I just got my first scroll saw and appreciate your tutorial.
Have fun scrolling and thanks for watching.
Love watching your work, You go at just the right seed and make it very interesting thank you
Thank you
Brilliant, turned out great, the gaps can be filled with sawdust and glue. Thank you
Muy hermoso
Your work is a great inspiration. Thank you
Thanks for the kind words.
Susan, I made these today, they where fun and turned out great
So glad you enjoyed making them!
Thank you for showing me how to do this… I had no clue how to get the different wood colors… thank you
Glad I could help.
Awesome video, new subscriber
Great instruction! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Beautiful job!!
I would like to learn.
What model saw do you use to cut the wood please?
I scrolled this on a Dewalt 788. I now have a Setco 24 inch scroll saw. You can really do it on any scroll, saw as long as you keep it at 90°. Thanks for watching.
Thank you... I am a extreme beginner....just working through the workbook...
. Have fun scrolling!
Thank you. Great video. Lots of helpful tips. I will give it a try. What glue do you use to hold the pattern on the masking tape? Thanks again.
You can use glue sticks or temporary adhesive spray or 3m’/gorilla glue permanent. Any will work just fine.
Good job
Hi , really love to watch it, I buy scroll saw as well , can u share layout
I wish that I could, but it is not my pattern. There are copyright laws. I do suggest you look through children’s coloring books. They have some really good patterns to follow. Thanks for watching.
Can I ask? What type of double stick tape do you use?
My double stick tape is so old that the label is no longer on it. I do know that I got it from Menards and it is specifically for carpeting. Make sure whatever brand you buy, that it is thin enough that it will not create a problem with your wood, lying flat.
@@SusanLoar Thanks!
Where did you get the pattern from please Nice work thank you.
At about 50 seconds into my video I show the book I used. It's called the Big book of intarsia woodworking. Happy scrolling.
Boa Noite parabéns pelo seu trabalho. Gostaria de saber de onde você tira os moldes para fazer seu trabalho
Thank you for watching. Sorry, no translation is available and I can not read your comments.
@@SusanLoarthey want to know where you got your pattern. I think?
@@brookemaples8411 I used an old quilting book that I had hanging around the house. You could look on public domain pictures online for a similar pattern.
Where do you get your wood?
I get rough cut lumber from a town close to me in Ohio and process them down to a quarter of an inch with my tools. Baltic birch plywood I get from Woodcraft. .
❤️👋
I love it! Do you have a IG account we can follow?
Thanks for watching. No I do not have an Instagram account. I am currently trying to figure out which way to go . I'm looking at websites, etsy, and Instagram. I hope to make my decision soon.
