Man i wish i had the privilege of playing this in its prime pre console pre all the Sony crap , i would never stop playing Vanu for all those visuals man. Just looks so good even now nearly 10 yrs down the line haha. Could they possibly bring back some of the dropped things graphically in with the engine they are running now or would that just introduce loads of issues ? Nice. Please make a new comparison with Ultra settings compared to other old videos too. I think the overall lighting is just worse now. Also i would never play on low settings, looks worse than Battlefield 1942 and that game is 16 years old. lol
yes i could see the diff back then, my laptop was was bought from 2020 it was up to date(but never got the 3700X version only the3700u) for some reason the frame rates got even bad somewhere within the NSO overhaul timeline and now i cant run my laptop on 40 fps without reducing my rendering quality to 60% prettty dumb decision by the devs prob to cut cost of the things they use to maintain graphics/performance bruh my english bad
To increase performance. Like the topic of the video. So many people had old PC's or laptops and they complained that a free to play game looked too good to actually play. Plus bugs. Also notice how dark it it? It would make the Vanu impossible to kill at night like in the beginning of the video
@@sean9594 That's only partially correct but the old PC issue is completely wrong, they nerfed the graphics so they could support DX11 and the PS4 which runs on an AMD chip. When this game came out, it was the flagship release for Nvidia's PhysX feature so it was a massive change.
"Operation: Make Faster Game" happened. it was in 2013 when Sony still owned the game, they decided to remove all of the stuff that made the game look awesome so it could run on potato PCs. sucks doesn't it? i had a middle of the road pc back then and it ran everything fine on ultra with physX and all! now in 2018 with my gtx1080ti the game looks way worse XD
I have a new pc. 2018 and i get 60fps. never reaches above 100 it is sad. how muh omfg killed the graphics and performance. my potato pc in 2012. ran the game at 20fps but at least it look nice.
Are you joking ? There is literally nothing out there like Ps2 , nothing that comes even close to the vast maps and massive all out wars that can happen on its servers . Problems are we need more players and especially on console.

the PS4 version was released, thats what happened. they dumbed down a lot of the PC version and made it look similar to the PS4.
