I live on a farm Lake Michigan 68 miles wide 188 miles long ! Wind kicks ass. I appreciate your podcast. I’m 78 yrs and given a death sentence by surgeon. But might live to 85. Spine destroying by accident. Take 110 unit of morphine Toledo me going. Your podcast brings me joy!! 😅

Drink water, eat a high protein and fiber diet and take your stool softeners. A daily dose of morphine that high will wreak havoc on your stomach. God bless you friend

Reminds me of my grandfather, he has passed away from cancer, but he was a commercial fisherman his entire life out of Amelia, LA. Guillory's seafood dock and it's still operated by our family. He never had any other job, but commercial fisherman and boy was he good. He could drop a hook and catch his hoop nets or crab traps in the oddest of places and not just that but do so with 100s of traps and NONE of them marked! Always blew my mind! Miss him and every time I see an older fella doing these things it brings a smile to my face!

This video brought heartbreak. My dad passed away in 2017. He was my right hand man, taught me so much. I still go fish whenever I can. Just spend some alone time with my dad right there with me. I wish I still had him to go on more adventures with here in Utah. Love the channel. Peter also led me to your channel and I’ve been binge watching the entire week!

It is true that the news and media will suck you in and cause depression and anxiety so I quit! Thanks for sharing your life. the education about your world is wonderful. I am going fishing and camping. I have been fishing for 27 yrs and absolutely love it. I own a bass boat and cant wait to get on the water. So serene and peaceful. Clears the mind. Love you guys. I come from Cajun roots but was born and raised in Tennessee with that South Louisiana culture (lots of crawfish and LSU football), but seldom returned to where my family is from. I have recently been trying to connect more with my heritage and that’s when I found your channel. You guys have helped me to get a glimpse of what life is like on the bayou and I really appreciate the good work that y’all do. Thank you and God Bless🙏
