50 year old retired fireman of 25 years of a major city and now I climb cell Towers for a living. I was forced to resign due to that jab refused to take it so I resigned. God fearing myself and I was turned on to this channel by Peter. Watched these 2 great folks and got hooked. Great channel and content. So we all thank you for taking the time out of your lives to provide us all with awesome content. Peace and love to you both oh and your father
@@BM-hb2mrwe are like minded God fearing brothers! Thanks for taking care of yourself and we will help take care of others! I pray Gods blessings on our families! Thanks
This was such an interesting video! I agree with you Keith, I wondered how it was done and how much work went into the process to catch those little, delicious guys. (I call them baby lobsters too!) Now I know how they’re painstakingly caught, cooked and thanks to you - now the RIGHT way to peel them. Excellent video content. Thank you Keith, Tara, Terry, Drake and Andy!! (Shout out to Jessica and the other little girl) ❤️ Thanks again! ❤
I meant to tell Tara that I made some of her dipping sauce and omg it was SO GOOD...I can't get crawfish in Tennessee, but I boiled up some Cajun shrimp, mushrooms and broccoli for some of my Kentucky friends and they think I'm the cat's meow now 😅❤ They gave me some homemade moonshine in return but dat's gonna have to be saved as a regift for Christmas or something! I tried moonshine one time only when I first moved to Tennessee; sitting around a fire pit drinking apple pie moonshine, it was smooth and delicious!! I remember everything until I got up to pee 😂😂
We use that sauce for all of our boiled and fried seafood! Goes good with crackers too. That apple pie moonshine is delicious. Goes down good but hits hard later.
With all the trash they have on TV & the news, it's refreshing to watch something as the videos y'all post. Brings back memories growing up in southern Louisiana. Thank You!
Being southern, I like to think that’s still the rule rather than exception, but these true bayou Cajuns are a special breed. It’s in their nature to treat people with incredible old time hospitality, and there’s a genuineness about them. They tend to treat everyone the same, regardless of class or prosperity. You could be the CEO or the janitor, and you’re going to sit at the same table and eat the same incredible food. They are a hard working and independent people too, yes. I’ll tell you this though. Don’t go down there and disrespect them. There was a saying once, something along the lines of “you mess with the wrong Cajun in Baton Rouge, by the time you get to Lafayette, his friends are all waiting for you”.
@melodymakermark AMEN to that! If Northern people come with respect and kindness and honesty they'll be treated in kind. But you come with an attitude or disrespect, especially if you disrespect a woman, you will get an ass whooping and might be left out in the swamp overnight for an attitude adjustment. 😂😂😂 They'll come get ya in the morning, but one night alone in the swamp will definitely humble you real quick. 😂
I was watching Peter Santenello's Louisiana miniseries thanks to you and Tara. They are fascinating to watch. I'm still absorbing all the history lessons from the folks on the shows...Those crawfish looked delicious. I remember at a time when they were sold at 30 cents a pound when bought at the dock back in the days. Thanks for the memories, Keith. It's so reminiscing.
Hey buddy! Believe it or not but there was a 20 acre crawfish pond behind my house that my grandpa use to farm. We still have the scale that was used to weigh the crawfish. That was over 50 years ago. Thank you for hanging in there with us. Always enjoy seeing your comments! 🦞

Fascinating to see how crawfishing is done. I lived near Picayune, MS back in the 80's (20 min from Slidell). Used to go to Slidell Mall often. Im Swedish. Not been living in Sweden for many years but we have crawfish time in August every year. Before, dont know now, you could buy frozen crawfish from Lousianna. Very tasty 😋
From time to time when we can find lots of water in ditches we would set some traps out. It’s been years bc my husband died with brain cancer. But my best memory was my entire family went crawfishing and we couldn’t bait our traps quick enough. We would bait the trap set it out set the next trap go back to the prior trap and it would be covered with crawfish. To me catching them in ditches is more fun than eating them! lol That was the last time our entire family shared in such a great time together with my husband and our three sons! Then the next day we had lots of fun cooking and eating those crawfish! Great memories! My husband really enjoyed it. We were told he only had at the most two years. His type of cancer was fatal. RIP sweetheart. Your family loves you always.
Thanks for finally getting into crawfish, I mentioned to you a little while back about you all not making crawfish gumbo at that time you mentioned crawfish was to expensive, glad you hooked up with Tara’s brother, keep him as a beloved family member because To me gumbo is not gumbo without crawfish, my son here in middle Georgia orders live crawfish shipped to his house every year from Louisiana and what is left over I peel them and make gumbo or crawfish étouffée , and when I can’t find crawfish I buy it at Walmart, making sure it’s the frozen tail meat from Louisiana and not from China, for my gumbo, and when I travel to San Antonio Texas from Georgia My wife and I always stop at Louisiana markets on the way to pickup Cajun products along the way , also thanks for running your drone out into your area 👍👍😀🙏
Dang, that was so cool to watch. Loved it. Those crawdads are so good to eat. You have to have a bunch is the problem. They are expensive to buy where I live in ALABAMA. Man, I love them. Been a long time that I had them. I can't afford them anymore. Wish I was there. Funny that people call them different names. Crawfish, Mudbugs, Crayfish, Crawdads. Sure, there are more names. I call. them Good eatin. Taters and corn. Damn SKIPPY! I'm hungry now.
Nice T -Shirt T.....and I also use your measuring technique.....I am always amazed as to how crawfisherman know their way around the swamp cause most everything looks the same as does the marsh.....That is very hard work and you are at the mercy of Mother Nature and her ever fluctuating water levels and quality. Enjoyed the video......Terry knows his STUFF
Terry knows so much about the area. I learned a lot from him over the years. We really enjoy hanging out with him and his family. Tara measures just like me 🤣. Thank you buddy! 🦞

I call.

Coouuu dat’s a lot of garlic powder lol
Gatta love the Worceshishaaa!!!!
Wasn’t that long ago you guys had 20k subs. Look at you know. That’s awesome guys. Keep up the great work. Be at 100k before you know it.
