This show touched on that feeling of possibilities behind every hunt - something great could happen. That anticipation doubles when you go out of state somewhere looking for a giant buck. A big reason I get out of bed every morning ripping to go all fall or work on my food plots and TSI. Love the show.

@@jasonhall7730 Im all for adults with medical issues or children using crossbows. North West Ohio here.. flat land ad hell we got everything from baskets to 190s and 223's wouldn't ever think this area had big deer. But this area in mineral rich
Post the video but leave out out the public and where it was killed. Protect the locations. We can still watch a cool hunt without knowing where it was killed.
I never understood why people from PA /north east drive through Ohio to get to Illinois, Iowa, Kansas ect. Good friend of mine has killed at least a 140 most years on a 30 acre Ohio lease for the better part of 25 years. His biggest is a 170. Also there are many overlooked places that hide large animals. I would say the Charleston WV area is an example. If you are a skilled hill country hunter and know how to play thermals there are opportunities to kill very respectable bucks. If WV wasn’t a two buck bait state it would be on par with Ohio…
As someone who has to use a crossbow I always give able bodied people a hard time if they’re using a crossbow. I grew up shooting vertical bows and I sincerely miss it!
Don’t give abled body people a hard time. Both weapons are challenging in their own way. Be a sportsman the world has enough hate hunters should stick together. I am guilty of this very thing too. I used to hate crossbows too because i followed the crowd of clubs. After all my archery shit got stolen, i did not want to get back into as hard i picked up the crossbow. Now i have more tools and jigs than i ever needed for vertical. And the hate makes people turn away from archery altogether. Honestly it is the mentality of many that really confirms my decision of never wanting to get back into vertical. If you want to increase your challenge take the scope and scope rail off and put the bolt retainer arm on the trigger unit and use no sights. There is always things you can do to improve the challenge. Even getting a recurve crossbow as opposed to a compound. We should be really supporting each-other not tearing into each-other.
