Thank you for posting this video - very helpful. Three things for others who are making this change: 1. the "firm turn" to get the bulb out meant "turn with all possible strength" on my driver side. 2. To reinstall the lower housing I found it helpful to fold the mirror in towards the vehicle. 3. The second mirror took me 12 minutes -- it's really as easy as it seems.
Good post but no need to remove the mirror. Pull on the bottom corner cover piece closet to the vehicle. It will slightly pop out. Where the 2 clips that hold the cover on push in on that area, jiggle and pull at the same time. It pops right off with out breaking the clips. Proceed with the rest of the steps. It's actually very simple to do.
+1 for this approach. I broke a mirror on my 2021 ORP, uggh. We did my 2nd mirror and my buddy's 4Runner by pulling off the color'd backplate and it was much easier that way
Its actually not this bad, you don't have to take off the mirror. You simply pinch the thin area of the mirror on the painted side closest to the vehicle and it snaps right off. Uou will find this in other youtube videos.
I’m really surprised I’m the only one that commented on the photographer videoing in portrait. There’s never ever a reason to take videos in this orientation. Ever!
@@youngfamilyfarms Hi Joshua 😎 I hope I wasn’t to harsh in my comment. 🤣 I found your reply funny and shows you have a great since of humor. Check my channel out if you like. 😎
Thank you, greetings from Phoenix
Hell yeah brother!

Wow. What a job for a lamp bulb. Ill tackle it though the end result seems nice indeed.

Could you post a video?
I've watched a bunch of these Puddle Light Replacement video....yours is the best. I have spoken.
I will not be replacing this bulb. Holy shit, what a lot of potential damage to a plastic thing.
Do you always work in the dark?

Do you have a link for those bulbs? I can't seem to find them online anywhere.
Great video btw!
Thanks for the help!
Is the yellow light a led?

You are totally right! Super unacceptable. This is pre-RUclips pro status. We’re working on it!

Na bruh, clips, tabs, and plastic are the worst combo. 100% chance I'll end up buying a new mirror.
This is crazy risk for a bulb change.
Poor design.
