Man - I just have to comment again - I went to Tech with no interest in Basketball... Some friends invited me to my first game - and from there I was hooked on ACC Basketball - forever! Go Tech!!!
Tech probably should have had someone in the face of the inbounds passer. Carolina had the chance to do their 'Grant Hill to Laettner' type of pass, but luckily Fox was no Laettner.
@@MusicManSeanB yep! Nothing like the last second wins in the Cremins era! (unfortunately there were also quite a few last minute collapses and chokes though...)

Two words... GREAT SCOTT!!!!
I was there, my freshman year, the good old days of GT bball. We had to camp out for tickets and this game was awesome.
Brian Oliver was there also. Kenny Anderson was still in high school
and I was 6 years old.
Great Scott Georgia Tech Wins
1989 was the year before Georgia Tech became national title contenders
8:01 Is that Ernie Johnson from TNT?
Sure is, Elevator Ernie himself.

True, because that was too clean a look for Fox to have in that circumstance.

Was Scott the only member of 'Lethal Weapon 3' that played for the 1988-89 Rambling Wreck?
I think Brian Oliver would have been on this squad.
Oliver was there. They mentioned him in that game clip
I think so.
6:33 to 6:37... that's wats up!
I think the best part of this is that Rick Fox chokes at the end as well! Rick Fox sucks.
