Greetings! Just had the A/C Tune Up done at shop for 20K RAV4 Prime. I purchased car used with 19K so I started with dealer to get things going but will use your videos in the future. Thank you!
Subbed. Awesome video. Going to follow you since I’m a few miles behind you 🤙🏾.
Great video - I have the same issue. When just the blower is on, there is an odor, but when the AC is turned in and in recirculating mode, the odor is not present.
I think maybe it would be a good idea when spraying, turn on the different modes like face, then feet, then defrost..... and then even combined feet and face.
Thank you for this. Can you do a video on cleaning the fuel injectors?
I’ll put it on the list
I have a 21 I got the smell at like 9k miles i thought it was my air filter and then I thought it was my vents I have been looking into this thanks hope it works
I put little water in intake vents outside and its fresh for 2023 40c summer
I’ll wait until it rain! Not the same thing
@@BulletSolanoits too hot here
Fantastic video, have you experienced an issue with AC when turned on sounds like water circulating. It's not affected by movement, it's constant and goes away the moment I turn off the AC.
That’s normal operation from the A/C
The foam that you put inside do you put the whole can or just half wait for it to drain out and then put the other half ? Also do you need to have the AC on after putting in the foam ?
Put the whole can, let it drip for 10 minutes then turn the car and a/c on
Clear and concise video. Thanks.
How much time did you spend on cleaning the evaporation core, excluding the wait time? Didn't seem like a whole amount to me, but I could be wrong.
Thanks.
Really easy, like 10 minutes
@@BulletSolano Thank you very much. My car was in my dealership for a complimentary oil change and they suggested this service. $200. Could it be that the cleaner is very expensive?😳
Yes, They don’t sell the cleaner to the public
@@BulletSolano Thanks again for the info. I checked for Toyota branded evap cleaner and found it is sold by my Toyota dealer in NJ. Their price is $41.40, around $12 more than other brands.
Thanks again. I will subscribe to your channel
Do you spray both the intake vent adjacent to the windshield and under the hood or just the one adjacent to the windshield?
Both
Do I need to lift my car in order to reach the core cleaning hole? Can I just do this in my driveway somehow? Thanks so much!
I don’t know what vehicle you have but you can do it in the driveway
Hi Solano . Thank you for sharing the video . Should I spray the whole bottle of the evaporator in ?
No problem, yes you can
@@BulletSolano thanks 🙏
No problem
Hey, I was thinking about installing led lights in the exterior door handle like BMW. Have you thought about doing that? DO you know of a good place to buy them?
Thanks.
I haven’t seen any lights for the door handles, but if I found something I’ll make a video
@@BulletSolano ok, ya I haven't seen anything either i thought I'd ask you.
Thanks bud.
No problem
Do you recommend getting the 30k maintenance done at the dealer or any toyota mechanic can do it?
It depends, if you’re looking to keep your Toyota for a long time go to the dealer, if not take it to any good mechanic
Very helpful video. Question, how do you know how much of that evap cleaner to spray in?
You can put the whole bottle in it
Hello Bullet,
While spraying underneath the car, is the vehicle’s AC on or off? Thank you.
Hello, car need to be off and let the product drain completely, after that start the car
Thank you so much.
Where would be the evaporator under on Toyota rav4 2015?
Passenger side firewall
While it drip did you turn on the fan inside the car or with ac?
A/C on
Are the aftermarket spray as good as Toyota ones?
Not sure the only thing I have is the one from the dealer
I think if move the blower first , then spray cleaner into through the side hole in the blower set , it would be easier and cleaner
🤷🏽♂️
Can you do an update on the leather seat wrap?
I got you
@@BulletSolano can you please do a video on throttle body cleaning 2021 Rav4? Please..
I tried it and the foam just blasted out everywhere. It didn't go in the drain tube. I tried to push the tube up the drain tube as much as I could but it didn't go very far. What did I do wrong, wasted a whole can
I don’t know man, that should be the easy part, put some wd40 or pb blaster in the tip of the hose, lubrication is key
Did i get it right that you work at the dealer, my guy? Would it be possible to pick up those AC refresh sprays at the dealer? My rav4's A/C has funky smell
Yes, I used to work there, and yea you can get those at the dealership
@@BulletSolano thanks man
Hello sir i have a toyota sienna 2016 le trying to locate my evaporator tube it would the same underneath the car?
It should be, if not sure turn the car on get the a/c running and look underneath for the water dripping
Hello. How many bottle of Evapor did you pump underneath the car
Hello, 1
El proceso es el mismo para una 2017?
Si
My back ac vent are very weak is that normal ?
Yes
Going to do this. I have 21 Rav 4 with only 15k miles and ac smells already when I first turn on. Like dirt socks 🤮
My AC smells so badly too, and I’m having troubles again because it’s sounds like bubling inside the cabin
My 2020 4 runner stopped leaking tried to clear and nothing..
Borescope will help
Have you heard of 2019 rav4 adventure roof rack leaking into car by the pillars
Yes, that’s a common issue for the rav4’s
What is the fix for this
You need to replace the seals on the roof rails
Mine was leaking there too, luckily it was covered under my warranty. Would have cost $500 from the dealer had I not had the warranty, though I’d just have done it myself.
@@jimhurst82 how did you know it was leaking? I can hear water sloshing around in my rear pillars but haven’t seen any other indicators of it yet
hi friend, do you know how to deactivate the anti-theft system, cause it's always flashing in my dashboard
All You need for this is Your ignition key.Insert the ignition key in the Accord's driver-side door lock. Turn the key to the unlock position. Turn the key to the lock position. Turn the key back to the unlock position. The alarm should now be disabled.Start Your Honda Accord's engine and allow the vehicle to run for at least 10 minutes. This will allow the Accord to reset the alarm.
@@BulletSolano oh, by the way , my car is toyota rav4 xle 2020, will it works to this model?
@@BulletSolano i appreciate 🙏 your response.
Good to know, take it to any Toyota dealer to get the vehicle scanned
This is a maintenance for 30k miles? Because I’m having troubles with my AC it’s sounds like someone is bubbling inside the car 😂, and the smell horrible
Make sure the drain is not plug or clog up
