There is another scene from apur sansar where aparna came to her husband’s house for the first time, she started to cry while looking outside the window. We can see her wet eye in the whole of that window.
That was a brilliant shot by ray, my personal favourite ❤

Satyajit Ray, the unmatchable and exceptional movie director, who was well-known for his superb movie direction prowess. A distinguished screenwriter, author and a documentary filmmaker, who had always been conspicuous by his unique and unparallel cinema that perceptibly drew a line between the reel and the real cinema. The great movies of a great director are undoubtedly the best one researched by the Flickside people. I'm really thankful to Flickside for making me aware about those unseen shots, which have touched the hearts of countless movie lovers. If talks about 'Pather Panchali', it was that classic movie, which was nominated for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 28th Academy Awards. Aprajita too was the grand movie of it's times. A big salute from me to the unparallel cinema maker, the great Satyajit Ray and the Flickside people.

Apu and Durga running through the rice fields and wild sugercane (kash phool) flowers towards the steam engine in Pather Panchali is one of the most iconic shots in all of world cinema. That itself would be 1-10 in the rankings . Even Ray (who spoke so less about his own achievements) spoke at length about that shot, and the effort it took to shoot that masterpiece.
