Moved from NYC four years ago. The proximity to NYC is A+. They are building approximately 20 duplexes around me. The property taxes on the duplexes are high. The town is collecting 40k on each lot where there was one house before paying 12k.
That's a big reason why Fort Lee feels like a city rather than just another borough. It's awesome, and the town must pay a lot to upkeep and improve it.
