I once dated a girl who lived in Greenwhich who I met at college. I went to one of her parties, met her friends and thought, "Why are we together?" It was a Titanic thing, I guess.

I love downtown Greenwich! I lived there for 15 years. I went to middle school and Greenwich high. Love the proximity to Island Beach. My favorite town :)

I stayed at a roommate's house once from Greenwich. The only time in my life I ever saw, much less rode in, a Rolls Royce.

@@CharlieVinciTeam I believe it was a late 70's Silver Spirit. Took me about 10 minutes to realize I was inside this thing. When I looked at the distinctive hood ornament, it finally dawned on me.

As a resident of back-country, I can say that prices are lower here than in mid-country. Hopefully, this will change, but as of now, mid-country is considered more prime real estate. Still a very good summary, thank you for posting.
Yes, take a $2 million mid-country home, move it to the back country and it's likely worth less than $2 mil. However, the back country has many of the most expensive estates, which brings up the averages. Not such a bad place to be! Thanks Niki.
I’d love to live here! It seems a little more family oriented so won’t work with me and hubby and kitty. But doesn’t stop me from dreaming about a large family and a large family home. ❤

Well, I wouldn't sat that is true. In fact, I don't think we have ever sold a home to a hedge fund owner in Greenwich. Might just be a stereotype.

@@mariooliveira6780 Yes. If you think our taxes are bad you would be fall over when you saw Westchester taxes. It's a big reason many finance companies are in Greenwich and Westport.
@@CharlieVinciTeam Many financial companies are moving to Florida. Connecticut wants a Mansion Tax!!! They think a Mansion is 430k???🤔 I own a small trucking company. I flatbed UHAUL trucks back to the Northeast.
