I am so glad i found your channel. I watched the infertility collab on both Celeste and Sarah’s channels and found you through them. I’ve been on a ttc journey for 3 years and we will be starting IVF early 2018. I’ll be going back to watch your other videos too! Congratulations on your beautiful family 😊💗
Hi Lindsay, welcome! :) I'm so sorry to hear you are struggling with Infertility. No way around it, it sucks. But I found such an amazing community of women in the process that I am eternally grateful for. Be sure to join the instagram community if you haven't already. Would love to follow your journey and offer support where I can. Hugs and best of luck this year! xx
No. I tested from transfer as I had an HCG uterine wash and wanted to be sure I didn't get any false tests. They were negative on day 1-4 (5 had a shadow that I thought was evap) but I also wanted to find out the earliest that I could. I made the decision to not count myself out until 7 or 8 days past transfer. I got my positive on 6 days past transfer.
Well put to sleep... different from general anesthesia I believe... I had a history of difficult transfers, likely due to endometriosis inflammation etc. They often had a very difficult time getting in, even when I was put to sleep.
Did you see Dr Braverman? I just had my third PGS FET fail. My RE in MI doesn't believe in RI protocols- we have since moved to NC and are trying to find a new RE that will work with Dr Braverman. I'm still waiting for my consult with Braverman. Beau is precious!!
phillipandemily we didn’t. We had heard of him (and dr Kwak Kim in Chicago) but our RE was willing to let us do an immune protocol “blind” (ie without the extensive testing). In the end I think it wasn’t related to immune as much as it was luck of finding the right embryo. Curious what our PGS results would have been but we didn’t have the $ to do it at the time of our retrieval unfortunately.
I am so sorry to hear. Have you looked into ERA ? [Endometrium assessment biopsy done in a mock cycle] in case timing of implantation is different for you than standard timing they use?
Gosh the baby is the spitting image of her!

Did you have any symptoms that prompted you to test early?

You went under anesthesia for your FET? I've never heard of this before!
