at 61 years old and been playing for 2-3 years...I practice and play tournaments while using every disc in my bag to putt with. putters to distance drivers...I use them all for putting. guy on my card two weeks ago was baffled that I was using a Innova Leopard -3 to putt with from 30-35 feet out. I told him I practice putting with everything...Lol's I like versatility

I agree with what your saying about throwing whatever disc speed you want if I works..watch ohn scoggins on the pro tour she dominates throwing a destroyer on drives and approaches a lot of times 300ft or less. Great in the bag! Keep it up 👍

One of the disc that has become most useful in my bag is a Pro Destroyer. Cheap plastic, but it makes the thing fly like nobody's business. I can shape it. I can turn it over a bit. I can flip it up to flat on a high line. It just does everything I ask it to. Hell, I threw it 429 feet today, (8ft elevated tee, slight, tailwind, but it still counts).

100% agree with your mentality. If the disc goes where you want it to go then throw it. I can’t throw 400ft but I always know where my halo destroyer is going to land so it becomes a consistent power shot/headwind fighter for me.

Just recently found your channel! Love your positive outlook and passion for the game! Also, I definitely agree with your thoughts about if a discs works for you, no matter what the numbers say, then throw it! This game is all above having fun the best way you know how 🙂

Yeah, absolutely. I'm not a young man, I've done tons of things in my just over 50 years being a person, but nothing, not a single thing I have ever done has grabbed me like this sport. My wife of 30 years would tell you the same thing.
Thanks for watching, stick around and let me know what kind of things you want to see.

For really good distance, I use a Neutron and Fission MVP Wave, and a neutron Vanish, amazing discs, goes for ages, also MVP Orbital is insane for lower arm speeds, all speed 11

Right on. Thanks for the tips. I keep seeing the wave come up, so I'll have to get my hands one one. I just picked up a 163 Wraith so I can't wait to do some testing with it.
I have on the horizon a concept for a new video talking about distance for an arm like mine. Comparing what I know goes far for me with what everyone else says should go far for me. Should be interesting.

i think you might enjoy an innova mako3 with the star or halo star plastic , super straight disc i use it more as a throwing putter than a mid range

I have a great Mako3 that I've used for long turnovers in the past. There's a hole up in Campbell River that's just under 300 ft over a hilltop and down about 30ft. I've parked it a couple of times with that Mako3.

Thanks, the Normalize Audio in Davinci Resolve is pretty great.
The Bag is coming along too.

Love it. As another greybeard, have you played around with different weights of disks? Went I went down to 165-167g for my distance drivers it changed my game.

I'm starting to get those lower weights in just my distance discs, really. That Pro Destroyer is 166, and the DD is 171 and the Destiny is 172. For misd and approach, weights don't matter to me much. I can manage wind by swapping in more stable options.
