Omg so much info you answered my question about mid motor stuff, I have a b6 buggy with laydown 4 gear and would lift the rear I will try the standup 3 gear
I raced with northstar drags in the late 90s we had nicad back then. But my pro stock grand motorsports chassis withn10 cells it ran 1.4 @ 90mph # 6 fastest rc drag car back then. But we would cut hole's in the back of the body seemed to help alot. That was prep racing. Now I'm trying this no prep thing this summer. But without wings at that speed they would crash spectacularly. Oh our front tires were orings. I'm getting excited to see what I can do with the new technology. I fly monster rc speed planes now day's 14s and 16s over 300mph !!! Yes I said 300mph Kent vahlsing was the record holder back then in rc drags
Hey I've watched this video about 10 times now, great information. But I would like to know if those tires fit the beadlocks well? Really liking beadlock wheels, however, some tires have to be "forced" to work with those wheels.
I like the bead locks but I'm having a few failures. I run mostly DE tires and the little tires I stick to my hand on the video has a special wheel that is smaller than sct specify for that tire. The sct tire on the car I have not had issues with but I am having beadlock issues with a few other tires. I had one bead lock fail (tire pulled completely out of the bead lock)this weekend in testing.
I know this is an older video but turned out great, lots of tips! Like your philosophy about sharing 'secrets' to help even the class! 👍 Quick question, do you do a burnout before a run or just let the traction compound do its thing?

Mark, could you talk a little more about the transmitter settings? I have a Futaba 4px and am trying to get it setup for drag racing.
