Subbed looks awesome! Just took the dive Into RC rabbit hole myself for the first time. Going to be running a nitro rotary engine just for sound. Almost there!
If you like the black Nova body Proline has the Tough Color Nova which is dyed lexan black so it will never chip. The tough color is only like $10 more than the regular one
I'm working on building a Rustler into drag car I'm running a full hobby wing 6s setup on it I need to put shorter front A-Arms on it suck it in a little bit what gear ratios would you recommend running for around 3 to 4s lipo batteries
Great Solid Build, looks awesome!! might try the same thing with the links to stiffin up the shock mount plate 👍🏼..... You know to use Lexan / Poly Specific paint for the body right? the home depot/Walmart fusion /rustoleum stuff etc doesn't work, it will chip like yours is doing as soon as you hit a wall. I'm sure you know just dbl checking in case .. 💯🤙🏽🏁
The AKA tires in the back, are they the 2.2 buggy or the 2.2 truck tire? There is a slight height difference between the two and I love the height and contact patch that the AKAs have on your car. Thanks for the great video and that is one slick ride!!
They some dual bead locks off of eBay, I've went another route since this video. There are some pretty good alternative option than these tire for no prep
Ok What options have you found for a Beadlocks that has a wider track? Have you had any experience yet with the Big Daddys ? have them on mine love them. But the real power is about to be installed. Do you know if they can be setup to handel the high speed passes?
@@Sullivansky2012 I actually have a set of Big Daddy's that are belted. Check out my lastest video on my channel I do a small overview of the Bug daddy's and where you can get some belts for them.
@@Sullivansky2012 honestly I wouldn't use the big daddy's for anything north of 55mph there's just to much rubber on those tires to tame. I would choose a different avenue, I personally think those tires are more suitable for a 13.5 car for launching better out of the hole. I've been using the DE outlaw's and hitting over 60mph.
I use CNHL 6600mah 120c batteries now which I can get about 10 runs easy out of them. I went to a no prep race this past weekend, and I went from 8.4v to 7.4v in 4-6 runs
@@rong648 not really, because I have 4 batteries ready to go at all times. So after about 3 runs I swap them out during a race so I'm not losing to much voltage.

Honestly I couldn't really tell you much on the cap pack as I'm not very experienced with them myself. You can get a high C rated battery which will do the trick as well
You are very resourceful. I like how you repurposed parts from other RC's to make this work.
I like the way you change the shocks in straight position, and the wheels look nice
HELL YEA MAYN! YOU INCORPORATED SOME SIMPLE, YET EFFECTIVE IDEAS THAT REALLY SEEM TO WORK. I LIKE IT.
Building my first drag car. Cant wait to pull that trigger
Awesome custom work and great ideas
Wheelie bar ❤looks sick
Awesome build bro you made it yours and you did great work 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🏁💪🏾💯💯💯💯

Sweet Set up.. I love it.
Soon it will be bought not built! You do have some great ideas.
It's Beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Very nice car 🤠👊👍
Great job man!
Good job
Pretty clean. Nice work.
Do not lose hope to be a famous RUclipsr continue and I am sure you will arrive it’s enough you start
really like your build sir!
I used the Traxxas washers to have my wheels set in also
Sweet ride my friend..
Very nice buddy. I like those rear wheels
I appreciate it!
Wow thats awesome
Very nice looking car bro. I love the slash builds. Great vid. 💯👊🏾🔥

I’m running the DR10 but I have a nova and a super J body that I may put on also
Its all about the nitro slash 🏎️ 💪
Nah too much work lol

Did you keep the slash control arms in the front?
Hey I have a rustler vxl 2wd and I'm trying to get a top speed run on it will a 56 tooth and 15 tooth gear be good for what I'm doing?
The crackling Nova
Nice looking car. I dig the shit out of those back wheels. Im running 31 74 gearing. It works great but it gets warm if ya make a few passes.
The best gearing I found that doesn't get to bad is 28/83 🤙
Did you use bandit arms in the front? I want to do the same thing, ty this was super helpful!
Part number on the rear tires and did they fit good any kind of stretching
Rear wheels where from and name... Please
Just saw your video with the Cadillac body. What beadlock wheels did you use.
On that video I was running some redcat Everest 2.2. They were the biggest 2.2 beadlocks I could find.

Your pinion is upside down ;)

Do you know the difference in length between the slash and bandit drive shaft?
nice NP

My traxxas rustler I made into a drag car and I can’t get my to stay in a straight line doesn’t stay straight Andy tips?
Have you messed with suspension any?
@@corysorrells22 well I got upgraded race suspension I don’t really know how to adjust it I just stared into rc cars like a year ago!
What wheels n tires did u use n where can I get some thx
Thanks look up 2.2 beadlocks on eBay
what wheelie bar is that
Nice build, I hate the rpm gear case tho. The idler shaft inside has too much flex and blows teeth off gears inside the case
Could you link me those front and rear bead lock? I just got into it and got a Dr10 but don’t want to glue plastic tires

Hi bro.. What the rc brand?
Your wheelie bar is way to high
You wouldn’t be wheeling it up so high if you had the wheelie bar longer and lower to the ground
This video is way old, moved on to bigger, better and fast cars.
Waste of money, for what your going to have invested in a toy you can have the real deal
