I never thought about this before, perhaps others have. When the Beast tells Belle to go, and gives her the magic mirror, not only is he giving up his chance to be human again, he is giving up the one means(the mirror) by which he would be able to see Belle again. When he says, "I will never see her again", he has literally given away any chance to ever even just see her image in the mirror. He has sacrificed everything for her.
The chemistry between Belle and the Beast is so good through the show I wondered if they were dating. Turns out they are or at least when this was recorded. Also this is the first time I've seen the conversation on the balcony where he lets her go where it’s clear they are about to kiss. So lovely.
I love how they kept most of the original Broadway design to this version despite having to downscale the backdrops, it still looks phenomenal. In the original Broadway production, there are 2 yellow gowns worn for belle, the ballgown ribbon dress and the finale dress which is a completely different gown embellished with pink and red roses, a lace shawl, and a tiara of roses to signify that Belle has become the new Rose for the Prince after lifting the curse. I'm glad they kept that effect here but instead of constructing 2 separate dresses they used one. The gown is first worn with yellow and gold ribbons then for the finale, they replace the ribbons with pink roses and a dusty pink tulle all around the skirt to compliment the roses. Economical but highly effective!
They cut some of the best moments (No Matter What and The Battle between the Objects and the Villagers) and changed some bits of the dialouge in this production.
GOOD NEWS! No Matter What is now optional! bad news. Maison des Lunes and the Battle are officially cut! Unless if they find the archived version if they still want to bring it back.
Change counter (Part 4): 32) My pleasure, it was… 0:42. Belle and the Beast saying it together gives you the feels huh? 33) 3:35 What happened to “We’re finally home.” 34) 8:27 Minor change: Kudos to my favorite Disney revue, Disney’s On the Record, for the alternate ending. 35) 10:12 I thought it was “Take the old man,” not “bring?” 36) 12:47 BTW, they forgot to cut down a tree and make it a big one. 37) 13:14 Anyone who goes nuts for the battle, I’m sorry if it’s cut, but not when Lumiére warns the Beast. I’m sure in this production the battle between the villagers and objects are offstage at the same time with Gaston’s fight on the tower. 38) 13:34 The “Ha!” from Gaston is cut. 39) 13:45 The bold words are cut: What’s the matter, *beast* ? 40) 13:54 The words “weren’t you Beast? Oh, that’s a good one!“ are missing. 41) 14:06 Also Gaston calling him a beast isn’t here after “despises you.” Even the “and” before “she sent me…” 42) 14:15 Gaston still does not call him a beast. But if he did, you know what the Beast would say? “I AM NOT… A BEAST.” 43) 14:28 Another alternate line: No, no, Please don’t hurt me. I miss the “I’m begging you!” after that. In total, we have 43 changes. In honor of the UK Tour, based on this production.
I wish they would actually have the actor playing Gaston fall off the set like in the original Broadway production. With how dark the stage is they could just put a landing pad behind something and you wouldn't even see it. I was lucky enough to see this a few years ago but the thing that dissapointed me was that they didn't have a tower set piece for the battle. The staircase works and all, but it would be nice if they could get something else. Or at least be able to camouflage it with pieces of broken castle that they could just hang on it. The coolest thing I remember about the show was that during the mob song and I believe the battle, they had a scrim come down and they projected wind and pouring rain on it! I don't see that here. Did they get rid of it?
Yeah, the song was added after Toni Braxton joined the cast. It's been included in the show ever since but Susan Egan, the original Belle on Broadway, she sang a cover for one of her own albums.
this is how Beauty and the beast professional productions that tour should look like and be since they are branding the Disney name. Not like the UK revival has done with it.
Ok. Yes. You. Ok. On. Ok. Be. Yes you. Be you yes can ok you can you please pritty Brittany male hi please pritty me ok you can you please 😂❤❤❤❤😂😂😂😢😢😢😢😮😮😮😮😅😅❤❤❤
Jessica Mabb Just in the show. They are also married in the Disney movie as well. I don't know if the actors who play them are married in real life or not.
I realize that I am not a touring actor or not even in a theater production company, and I do not have much room to voice my opinion. However, I just did not feel captivated with this particular stage production of Beauty and the Beast. There were some good parts, but for the most part, I was disappointed. My only qualification for my judgment is I am obsessed with the Disney Animated film and stage musical, and that I have played Lumiere. I am not saying they are terrible actors and actresses and should quit show biz, but that there was something missing. I only hope that they can find that something and fix it. If anyone would like to further discuss and voice their thoughts and opinions, I would love to engage in some theatrical conversation.
Gaston Is still alive because beast kill him i don't like beast and gaston have biceps to spare he is still alive by his strength and the wolf are not there he survive by the stream of water and he saw lefou and the villagers and go to the village and never bother beast again
The fact that Hilary and Darick were a couple while making the Beauty and the Beast tour makes the chemistry soo good!!

Haha! I swear someone in the audience farted at 6:17. And I enjoyed watching these videos. Thanks for posting them.
Amazing voices
Great look a likes and exceptional singers.
They just look like the costumes from the original Broadway musical and the 1991 animated film. Also 😭 R. I. P. Anglia Lansbur

They had the rain projection when I saw the show in Fort Lauderdale two days ago, I guess the camera didn't pick it up since it was zoomed in
God this is way better than the 2017 remake
Not without Days in the Sun, How Does a Moment last Forever, and Evermore, it isn’t.
That is sad when the beast gets stabbed and belle begs the beast to not leave her 😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😰😱😰😰😰😰😰😰
Belle I love your voice
Did they cut the battle?
Does the actor who plays Cogsworth wear glasses, as a clock AND as a human?? I couldn't tell... it looks like he does.
14:54 Did Gaston stabbed himself after stabbing the Beast?
The "Battle" was cut????
William Watson sxs
It was the best part! MTI now cut it!
ibleedgreenandblue please upload the whole show? please? :'(
He did there are 4 parts this is the last one
They skipped the entire castle storming bit where the objects attack the villagers
They did NOT have enough ensemble members for it! They need to practice their quick changes. BRING IT BACK!
What song is the main character singing at 6:15?? I need to know
A Change in Me
I wonder why this song isn't on their soundtrack??? Or is this something new that wasn't from the original? (at 7:something)
Yeah, the song was added after Toni Braxton joined the cast. It's been included in the show ever since but Susan Egan, the original Belle on Broadway, she sang a cover for one of her own albums.
Yup, and she sounds perfect singing it.
The new ending originated from Disney’s On the Record for Ashley Brown.
Every year

Belle and Prince Adam aka The Beast are actually married at the end of the show.
AJ Dezelle in real life? Or just in the show?
Jessica Mabb Just in the show. They are also married in the Disney movie as well. I don't know if the actors who play them are married in real life or not.
Yes pricne adam and belle get married and in descendents they have prince ben
Meagan Music24 They are also married at the end of the animated movie even though it is not mentioned or shown.
