Tiger Warsaw is a solid drama that didn’t get a fair shake (at box office or by critics) 30 years ago, but I always remembered it. Finally just got to see it again, and it still holds up. Swayze was a class act. Beautiful movie.
Exactly, I agree with you. I adore Patrick in this movie, too. The biggest thing is there are some people like you and me who notice and appreciate it. In my opinion worthy things are hard to find sometimes, but they give a lot of satisfaction. That's why they will never be forgotten...At least I hope so...
Movie was a train wreck upon a nuclear meltdown upon a pandemic. It's as bad as they get. But, it, at its core has something. It just had a bad start and shitty writers. There are too many, actually, pretty much every scene could have been done better. Good bones, bad cooks.
In "DIRTY DANCING," he touched your heart. Now as "TIGER WARSAW," he'll touch your soul. To his family, he was dead. To his friends, he was troubled. Now, after 15 years, he's returned home. A solid drama that never got the credit or the respect at the box office and critics. But Patrick Swayze will always be a class act and a legend.
Swayze was what brought me here. He was way too good for this turd of a movie. They didn't put enough into making it worth a damn. And it sadly shows. He and "stands with a fist" were rhw best parts. And even they had to deal with crappy writing.

This movie is kind of like sleep deprivation. Makes very little sense, few people will understand what you are talking about if you talk about it. Logic just vanishes when you go out to do stuff (or how the movie progresses) and it's really long and boring always winding up in strange sleeping situations if that happens at all.

Yeah, crazy to see a movie in Sharon PA. Fun fact, in one of the Jackass movies Johnny Knoxville is wearing a Sharon Tigers t-shirt. Not sure how he came across it.
One of the worst written and directed films I've ever seen. It has elements of a good movie. But it's like they tried to make the worst movie ever. Bad misshapen plot, horrible writing, as in lines, bad lighting and cinematography. I hope the director never made another movie go back to sewage management cuz all they know is shit. This is a movie that could be re-done so much better. It's got a story to work on. Something that's tragic bit also endearing. A misunderstood sadness. Fuck I'd write it better and I'm not a writer. But I know movies.
