Never realised Americans had it so hard... As a Canadian, Cuba is a favourite getaway. The advantage we have is most of our cell phones work (Rogers worked last month in Varadero well enough to do voice calls over What's App) and most of our credit cards work (unless it's Amex or Cap1). I have actually used the internet there to get work done (Nord VPN to access American sites). It's amusing you mentioning government surveillance when America spends so much monitoring their own people. Looking forward to Part 2!
Thanks for watching, lol I wouldn’t say hard but there are some challenges unique to Americans. Don’t get twisted I know very well about Americas surveillance state. More of observation / warning ⚠️ then a comparison. Keep our American 🇺🇸 alleged Privilege in check.
Ey bro good vid, thanks for making a vid about my little island and starting it with support the people, respect. Just wanted to add couple points I think are very important: 1- Bring your own medicine, sunblock, everything, 2- Don't get scammed at the airport by customs, and don't overpay exchanging money at the airport, the government steals 50% of your cash's value, 3- Be prepared to walk miles without finding a cold drink or something to eat. Hope you had a banger time!

Hey I’m going in October and I wanted to know if they asked you about an itinerary at the Havana airport also is there any Covid restrictions or testing required thanks
No they didn’t but, you should have Airbnb information handy you will need to provide them with that. I didn’t have it and they were quite nice about it. Thinking I would have had access to internet 🛜 in the airport.
Do taxis take US dollar at airports upon landing? I ask bcus I don't wanna get a bad exchange rate from the airport..... Also I just saw today, bcus of the mosquitos in Cuba, did you personally get the yellow fever Vax? Would you say it's needed? Hopefully you can answer this
Yes they do take US dollars it’s widely accepted on the island I will go in detail on money in part 2. I do have the yellow fever vax, however it’s not required or was I ever asked about it or any other vaccine. This also me flying in from Miami. Some countries may have that rule. Thanks for watching

I appreciate good advice
The non-access to your banking, cell phone access, and bad Wi-Fi is a huge con. I appreciate the honesty. Cuba is going to be a HARD pass for me.
Part 2 coming soon thanks for watching
