    Really like the lights on each side of license plates. NJ Troopers do the same thing using Whelen ions in white. They really push out a lot of light.

      Alex Lindsay Thank You. Using the (2) Cannon's on the Plate Bracket ended up working great.

    Would have been neat if they would have wired the rear facing Fenix Cannon's into the reverse lights so they would steady burn white when the car was in reverse. Rear mounted takedowns are common on our County cars to increase the visibility when backing up on some of the dark roads around here.

    Stewart, I loving the videos but this one was kinda a disappointment, I enjoy watching a complete build like what was done on the other charger and the others. let the guys know that they are doing an awesome job with building the cars and so are you for making the videos, excellent work.

    Nice, clean installation. I haven't gotten a chance to use the Fenix products yet but I think I will be checking them out soon as a replacement for a '15 tahoe's reverse lights rather than drilling through the double walls.

      +Wells Communications We're glad you like it :) Thank You. We did use the Cannon's in a 2015 Tahoe in place of the stock reverse lights... Please check out the following K-9 Tahoe we put together: ruclips.net/video/Umc4MJHngAU/видео.html

    Great install... I would have done the same with the rear Cannons as you did with the side ones: hooked up the steady white secondary mode to come on with the reverse lights... But thats just me...

    Hey SIRENNET just an idea for you can Star Car how about you mount the radio aerial to the light bar that way you don't have to drill any holes. They do it here in Australia with all the new Emergency Vehicles being rolled out. Plus it lakes it easier to remove and reuse the same light bar etc on a new vehicle when the old one is decommissioned.

    • @SIRENNET
      @SIRENNET  9 лет назад

      Corey Dark We've looked that his mounting style, but for most of the Installations performed, far to many antenna's are mounted on the roofs for them to be moved to the Light-bar & spaced properly.

  • @Thedogbond
    @Thedogbond 9 лет назад

    It seems like this Charger doesn't quite have enough lighting low down from the front. The cannons can't really be seen, so it's really just the light bar...

    I talked to an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper at the "Police Week Memorial Service", he was driving a new Charger with the 5.7 liter Hemi. He said he has had his patrol car up to 148 or 150 MPH while chasing a motorcycle he had clocked at 125MPH...he caught it of course ! The biker stated he "was going to run", until he noticed it was a Charger, not a Crown Vic or Taurus.

      ***** I just bought a new 2015 Dodge Charger R/T Plus in bright white (like the one shown in your video). The bad boy I got is definitely the best car, all around, that I've ever owned. The Charger R/T Plus is about as close to a police package as a civilian can get. It's got the 5.7 liter V-8 Hemi MDS VVT motor, Mopar Cold Air Induction, TorqueFlite 8 speed automatic 8HP70 Transmission, Performance Suspension, Anti-Lock 4 wheel Disk Performance brakes, Rain Brake Support, Elecronic Stability Control, All Speed Traction Control, Tire Pressure Monitoring Display, Automatic Headlights, 160 MPH Speedometer, Keyless Start N Go, Alarm System, Theft Deterrent System, Uconnect 8.4 inch Touchscreen AM/FM/SXM/BT system, Siruis XM Satellite Radio w/1 year free subscription, 6 Premium Speakers, 276 Watt Amps, Media Hub (SD,USB & Aux), 2 12 volt Aux Power Outlets, Heated/Cooled seats, Heated Steering Wheel, ALL gauges, Bi-Function HID Projector Headlights, 20" x 8" Polished Aluminum Wheels w/Graphite Pockets, 8 way power Driver & Passengers seats, 4 way Driver & Passenger power Lumbar Support, Parkview 8.5" Rear Park Assist (Camera), Blind Spot & Cross Path audible & visual Detection System, Rear Back-Up Camera, 3 D GPS Navigation System, Power SunRoof, 3 "bulb" halogen fog lights, 5 Year 100,000 Mile Warranty, LIFETIME Warranty on ALL systems including advanced electronics, Push-Button Automatic 911 Caller, 20 inch Cop Tires, Cop Suspension, etc.,etc., etc. It has just about everything, most of motor has heavy duty Cop parts. It's got extra sound damping insulation, so it's quiet, handles wonderfully...like no other car I've ever driven (including Crown Vic Police Interceptors) . I just had to talk about this wonderful car given ***** comment about the Dodge Charger ! The ONLY downside is Uconnect is a challenge to totally set up and understand because it seems that a few of the 38 Apps it has require a paid subscription, that the salesman forgot to mention, but the cost of the subscription(s) are minimal. I enjoyed your video, well done as always ! One other thing...I cannot find a 2015 Charger PLUS in any promotional materials from Dodge, does anyone know the story of the R/T Plus ???

    I just don't think that these LED headlight flashers are as visible as a true halogen flashing high beam light.

    • @chpman2013
      @chpman2013 9 лет назад +3

      Blaine Bugaski it's brighter in person

    • @Guillotines_For_Globalists
      @Guillotines_For_Globalists 9 лет назад

      But still, which is brighter?

    • @chpman2013
      @chpman2013 9 лет назад

      The halogen flashers would be more visible from the front...the led headlight flashers on the Charger actually wrap around., so I think it would both be visible from the front and sides

    • @wellscommunications3803
      @wellscommunications3803 8 лет назад

      +Blaine Bugaski Side by side comparison.... LEDs are much more noticeable than halogens in my opinion. Sharper light as opposed to the warmer halogen glow. They also offer instant on and off for quicker flash patterns. (Halogens need time to light, therefore require slower transitions between them)

    • @Guillotines_For_Globalists
      @Guillotines_For_Globalists 8 лет назад

      Isn't this partly the reason why the 2016 Explorer Interceptor went back to standard high beams without shutters, so that a traditional flasher unit could be used with the high beams once again?

    I'm interested in the headlight and brake light flashers. You said those were OEM? So it can't be done to regular Chargers??

    • @SIRENNET
      @SIRENNET  8 лет назад

      +Anthony P On the 2015/16 Chargers, we've yet to outfit one that has not been a Service Package. As the new body style is full LED for the front White Halo's, an LED Flasher Module would most likely be the best option to use with them. On the rear-end, depending on exactly you want to Flash, an LED Module may be needed verse a standard tail-light Flasher. The 2015-16 is full LED for the Brakes, Tail Lights, and Reverse Lights.

    @9:30 what does the pursuit button do? Also what is the radio rebroadcast used for?

    • @SIRENNET
      @SIRENNET  9 лет назад +5

      Julius Leonard The pursuit button shuts off the rear-deck nForce and the rear license plate Cannon's as well as shutting off two of the rear Liberty II Warning Modules. When multiple Cars are running Code together, the car behind does not get completely blinded by the Cruiser in front. Radio Rebroadcast allows the In-Car Radio to repeat/broadcast through the 100 Watt Speaker.

    Police in the usa have much better vechile outfit than ours in Australia all marked have code3 defender & unmarked have 3 dash lights, no prisoner screens very basic

    • @rickyjulian2499
      @rickyjulian2499 9 лет назад

      Public Safety Lights Australia Yeah same with New Zealand, atleast you guys have V8's for your highway patrol. We use the Holden Commodore Evoke for standard patrol and undercover and have the SV6 for Highway Patrol. I wonder what NZ and Aus will change to when the Commodores and Falcon production ends

    • @publicsafetylightsaustrali8590
      @publicsafetylightsaustrali8590 9 лет назад +1

      Ricky Julian by the sounds of things Australia mite be getting some of the usa vechiles like the ram, tundra, ford's & be sweet if we got the charger that be a sweet looking car to have, but we will probably get like a great guess will have to wait & see what we get.

    • @rickyjulian2499
      @rickyjulian2499 9 лет назад +1

      Public Safety Lights Australia Yeah that would be sweet. We would most likely follow Aus and use something you guys choose. NZ tested the old generation Chrysler 300, but they thought it looked to intimidating, but maybe they will retest the new model that will be out when Holden ends Commodore production. But your right all we can do is guess until the time comes closer and they reveal the candidates for replacement

    • @publicsafetylightsaustrali8590
      @publicsafetylightsaustrali8590 9 лет назад +2

      Ricky Julian the great walls & some of the other budget cars could work haha, I like the look of the chargers with the intimidating appearance, same with the hwy patrol holden look heaps good, or a custom built car police package just for the police, but probably won't happen, we had a unmarked police car get onto the tram tracks on the gold coast QLD & the tracks were higher suspended higher than the bridge footing & got stuck, & some of these high powered cars from the USA would be really cool to have.

      +holgy gyurt If it were set-up in Amber and without a Siren, you may be alright. We'd suggest looking into the legalities of this in your area. Checking with your State Patrol or DOT Office would be a great place to get information.

      SIRENNET thanks for quick reply
      How much does it cost ?

    • @SIRENNET
      @SIRENNET  9 лет назад +1

      +holgy gyurt As far as total cost for the Equipment, it would adjust based on what all is being used for the build-up. Depending on the exact set-up, you could have an outstanding Lighting and Accessories System for $3000-$6000.00 give or take.
