My answer to "Where can I find 'cheap' ghillie mesh?".. By all means, cheap out on the lowest quality mesh but don't expect QUALITY when going this route. I always recommend Adaptive Ghillie Mesh Summer Crafting Kit. If you think this kit priced at $100 Canadian / ~$75 USD is 'expensive'.. with all do respect, you may be involved in the wrong sport. The AGM crafting kit can literally craft your ENTIRE suit + balaclava + goggle + rifle.
I am pinching serious pennies and on a tight budget and I can still say, $75 for the summer pack is WAY worth it!!! I used it on a $50 leaf suit from Cabelas. Man, the moment I sit in the brush I literally disappear. I get more comments on my suit and people are shocked when they find out it’s a cheap leaf suit from the sporting goods store. So worth the $75 and then some. I have a lot left over. Definitely worth it. 👍👍👍
I’ve looked into this but honestly man, there really isn’t anything that is remotely effective as AGM mesh. AGM mesh is made to reflect light as of real leaf would. If you want to go the budget friendly route, novritsch makes a screen kit but in my opinion the quality doesn’t even come close to the kicking Mustang AGM
@@airsoftstini good to know, I've been pondering where to order from. What would you say separates the two in regards to quality, because my biggest concern has been color so far which is very hard to gauge from a picture on a website.
Just pay $100 CAD and order the AGM summer crafting. Cheaping out will give you terrible results, the worst to work with, wears out/rips easily and quickly, doesn't properly reflect natural sunlight. You will also need to hand cut/dye your own cottons, still have to purchase raffia and of course, cable ties. AGM kit offers all of that and more.
@@airsoftstini talking about cheating out will give people terrible results? Dude who are you kidding man, you base the price point on the quality! If you shop around and do research you can get the job done for a lot cheaper and that’s just a fact. Stop telling people to spend more when in fact you should be helping people to save!
Also it’s worth a mention that in the uk over here for a full summer crafting kit it’s around £60 that would total around $85 shipping is very reasonable also costing around $7-$8 and empire airsoft in uk has them and also hidden airsoft and I can promise you for the same quality what this guy is talking of you will save money. But shop around dude it’s not hard any questions drop me an inbox.
@@rewindthetape23 wicked, much appreciated. I discovered that the mesh on my mosquito net hat is the exact same as the mesh buddy is using. Also, for $8 Canadian I bought Rit dye and $6 got me a massive bundle of raffia. Pulling it and dying it isn't the labor intensive goat rodeo people say it is. When I'm done my project, I'll post a video. I'm not trying to shit on any of the companies; I'm just thinking when society collapses, I'm gonna wanna aquire alternatives. I don't even play airsoft lol I just love camouflage
@@rewindthetape23 Tell me this much then.. you're in the UK, so this could be different for you but, before the AGM kit was released, I would have to purchase 2-3 halo screen crafting kits from skirmshop to craft an entire suit, rifle, balaclava and chest rig. After shipping it would cost me $150-200 Canadian.... The AGM kit costs what? $90 Canadian + $10 CAD shipped to my door? The AGM kit comes with coconut rope, cottons, rifle wrap and I still have left over material. Skirmshop halo screen mesh didn't come with cottons, coconut rope or KMCS rifle wrap.. Just saying man that a Summer crafting kit has everything you need and it's affordable. If you think a kit that costs 60 pounds is expensive for an entire crafting kit, maybe stay clear of crafting suits. And I don't mean that in a dick way, haha. Again, it could just be different for us Canadians because we never had access to purchase a crafting kit in Canada and would have to ship far overseas.
@@airsoftstini yeah I found out the hard way. I went and bought some. I meant to come back and post that it is not the same. But it was less than $10 and the wife now has some for wreaths

For clipping zip ties use wire cutters or finger nail clippers.
That works too!
can u make a video of attaching the leaves to the suit ?
For sure!
What is the name of that color like specific name sir?
How long and wide is the base mesh?
I forget how long and wide the base mesh is in the crafting pack.. But it's more than enough to craft 2 entire rifles.
anyone familiar if theres a alternative to these mesh or even holomesh, that can easily be bought from hardware stores?

@@airsoftstini tysm for the quick response, unfortunately I live in Asia where shipping from novritsch or kicking mustang is quite expensive.
