I think fans would accept lack of trophies for a short while if there was progress in the rebuild aspect but at this moment of time after 2 years of ETH the inconsistency of there playstyle is there to see so no winning an FA cup and a league cup is not enough to justify a season where they finish 8th with very poor football but hey he has another shot however if he fails to get United to top 4 or close to it then he should be sacked accepting average seasons won't take United back to its hight heights.
