It's even deeper than that. You cannot feel masculine. It's a way of life, 24/7. Masculinity is something you project in a genuine way AND is perceived as such by genuine observers. You might be 6' 5'' roid fiend with 15 inch shlong, but if you act like a bitch, I'll call you a bitch. If you act like an asshole, I'll call you an asshole. Alternatively, you can be 5'3" and skinny, but if you keep your word and stand your ground, you're The Man.
You can avoid the whole misgendering them issue simply by using gender neutral terms such as "Assh*le", F#ckwit" or d!psh#t". This will help to avoid a lot of uncomfortable social situations.
Ha, been doing that for years, it's much easier to avoid using pronouns all together than to learn all the new ones. Also been doing that for names, since I can't remember those either.
And for good reason. How the frick do these people think that we as mammals with a shitty sense of smell have otherwise been able to find compatible partners to continue our species, which directly resulted in said peoples existence? I don't know about them, but where I'm from grabbing someone between the legs for inspection is considered SA.
I bet money that if a big bad man, make him Russian, came after the girl in the video waving an axe she'd immediately know what pronouns to tell the cops.
They're not even trying to hide their narcissism. They think the internet is on their side and can do their bidding so that makes them tough and bold in public😂
To be fair some companies are forcing this nonsense on employees, they monitor employees social media therefore they have little choice but to use them if you see she/her and it's an actual woman probably a normal human he/him for a male you get the idea.
I survived living with someone who got furious because I didn't refer to them and their partner as "they". One of the worst times of my life with one of the most unhinged and irrational people I have ever met. The sad part was when I calmed her down she actually started having a discussion with me. I explained why you can't treat people this way and she understood. When we were done I pulled out a three page letter of vitriol she slipped underneath my door days before and walked away from her and that nightmare of a place for good. That was 2016 and I still have that letter. It is a reminder that some of the worst people you will ever meet can change your life. Now I know the darkest depths behind this ideology and just how easily it makes it's way into impressionable minds.
Honestly, same. Mine was a toxic relationship-turned-situationship that lasted four years. Once he latched onto trans ideology, that was it. Now he makes gay porn, but don't tell him that because he's a "woman" 🤡
"Certain pronouns for certain days" "Different pronouns depending on what clothes they're wearing" This is unadulterated narcissism, what they really need is therapy to help them control the excesses of their personality disorder.
I saw one girl on tiktok say you can tell what pronouns she is using - and what gender she is - by the color of her shoelaces! She had like 5 different colors. Insane.
Yeah I knew a "non-binary" person and every day it changed and no way to tell you had to ask or if you said the wrong one she would bite your head off like if she was he that day she would go HE in a angry tone so I just stopped and used there name when ever they were around
@tauntdragoon that sounds like a nightmare. I knew a similar person, not non-binary, but was a lesbian and would take any opportunity to label something a microagression, so in the end people just wouldn't talk around her, then she started complaining that it was a hostile work environment because conversations would end when she showed up. The constant need for attention, affirmation and sense of victimhood when its not received were so frustrating to deal with. You can never win with these people society just needs to say no to their bs.
I think it's time we all agreed, as a sane society, to "ghost" these people. When it becomes obvious just how batshit "special" they are, everyone should discontinue talking to them, or making eye contact, or engaging with them in any manner whatsoever. Treat them like ghosts. They need to get it through their heads that we owe them nothing, and we won't rearrange all of reality to suit their desires.
The best explanation of why companies are not hiring "pronouns" people, avoid conflicts, it's impossible to please somebody that can be offended by the same thing they asked you to do minutes ago...

I had stopped listening to many of the manhwa reading channels because of that reason alone. It shows you AI is reading that shit, cause no human can follow a story where the MC is swapping he/she every fucking second while there are other characters to follow. It's impossible to listen to. Past chapter 2, I didn't even know who was talking over half the time in most of them.
@LTNetjak you know it's rather archaic to call one as such. You would do better to refer to one as they appear to be, but they if no such appearance is provided. Hence, "they" is also a distant 3rd person reference rather than simply a plural one. But I understand your annoyance at those uses.
It's not even respect they demand, it's obedience, subservience. They're privileged elitists. And they wonder why people are pushing back against this.
Agreed, I'd use someones desired pronouns only if I respect them if they weren't corespondent to their sex. If my lifelong friend wants me to call them a woman, yeah sure. But if you're a random person I don't know don't expect to start off with that level of respect.
New hire at work walks up to me and demands " you will call me miss ". I simply walked away. I was called in to HR the next morning. They had my reaction to the unreasonable demand on camera. True story
This is simply a syntax version of those finger trap toys. It is a no-win situation designed to allow people to get angry and play victim at any point of their choosing. The "rulebook" for referring to someone now rivals the rulebook for the game Magic: The Gathering. The difference is that Magic: The Gathering does make sense....eventually.
It's very similar to Magick indeed. As, every new edition has new cards and rules much like each addition to the LGBT acronym adds new rules to to their rulebook too
That would be a nightmare for authors. Spend your life learning to tell stories using your mastery of a language that has very clear rules, then you add random chaos to it. It's like telling a Smith he has to make a combat quality sword with chocolate pudding as his only material
Chocolate pudding lol 😂 Unless you're a certain Japanese RUclipsr who is scarily good at chemistry and knifemaking that's impossible (the RUclipsr is kiwami japan btw, criminally underrated channel)
Some of this has been seeping into the author community. I follow multiple writing groups and frequently see well-meaning but very impressionable writers asking questions after they likely fell into a diversity rabbit hole and they're basically asking "Is this true? Do I have to do this?" Then in the answers you can tell who also is down the rabbit hole. But thankfully most people say 'no just write your story.'

What makes it hard in my case and probably others is I am autistic. I already have a hard time trying to figure people out and you add this on top of it. 😵💫 This happened to me yesterday - I belong to a rp group (rp story chat groups on Discord) and people on their are trans. Ok fine I can deal with that but then they started to make trans characters. I told them I am uncomfortable playing with a trans character because I can not mentally get that concept in my head due to being autistic. And they completely shun me, ignore me talking at all and then banned me from all their groups. This in a span of 30 min. Didn’t give me the time of day to explain my side and how I feel. What I said “Me feeling uncomfortable” made them feel uncomfortable and scared. Seriously?! You? YOU?! Uncomfortable?! You can not talk to this people. I was talking politely and said NOTHING rude or mean. I just wanted to express how I felt and clearly I see how they felt. Also mind you I have been rping with these people for 3 years and rped for 20 some years and NEVER had a problem until recently. 😡 And now they feel uncomfortable? So I was fine for 3 years but now ……. guys this is to ingrained into society and it is bad!
I use to roleplay a lot, since 2014, but in 2021 I quit all the groups, not only because of the so-call "trans" and their characters (I'm really inconfortable with it too but I think it's in fact a sane reaction), but also they are really rude with people who do not think like them in any subject. I try to recently search other forum for rp, but I saw that now they put pronouns in the presentation (this is a huge redflag !) even in French. Times are hard for roleplayers who don't like this "trend"...

This reminds me so damn much about that novel "The 13½ Lives of Captain Bluebear" (in case anyone has read that). In one section of the book the protagonist meets a nomadic group called "Muggs" who have a weird set of rules and one is that they always have to address other members of the group by their full name and if somebody forgot it or said it wrong, it's an affront that required penance. The problem was that everyone could chose their own name and more often than not, they invented relatively complicated ones and would then go out of their way to talk to others so they could put them to shame if they screwed it up. The end result was that the protagonist chose a ridiculously long and complicated name so that nobody wanted to talk to him anymore, because he was fed up with their whining when he made a mistake.
You know what I am going to start calling them all by their "proper" pronoun, and that is "Loon" it's not only gender neutral & inclusive , but it really captures their true self to a T. It's Also easier to remember as well.
One of the good things about masculine and feminine is you can keep saying he or she to be consistent and you don’t have to keep going back to the name.

The bit about having to carefully construct an essay in your head before talking about a person with neopronouns is SPOT ON. I "misgendered" a real estate agent once. I mean, I think I did. Having just relocated to Northern Virginia, I found a house to rent and contacted the listed agency. They put me in contact with the property management company, who put me in contact with the assigned agent, Dale. Androgynous name, and I had spent the previous six years in Georgia as enlisted military, so when I heard a female voice I went with "yes, ma'am" and "no ma'am". The call didn't last long, and Dale never followed up, with the management company dropping the keys off. I never met or heard from Dale again. So, I got curious and looked her up. Member of a LGBT Realtor association, obvious biological female dressed in men's clothes and with a scraggly "beard". Yep, I must have hurt "his" fee-fees by referring to "him" as "ma'am".
Once you recognize that this is all put in place to confuse people, instead of trying to take them seriously, the game they play gets exponentially less confusing.
You say that normal people won't be able to cope with these demands. Well I'd be happy to bet that, on the whole, they wouldn't be able to stick to these demands between each other. And to be honest they probably don't have to. It's just a stick to beat you down with. Don't play their game, ever.
The best way to deal with these people is to disenfranchise them. Don’t refer to them at all, don’t engage or include them then see how quickly their behaviour changes.

I simply despise all of this. That's not how the real world works, 99.9999999% of humanity knows it's [r word], and if I could stand the amount of bullying my brother and cousins gave me and not turn out bad, then these nutjobs can stand when normal people don't know about their made-up pronouns. And none of it is about us respecting them, it's all about them getting us in trouble for not "respecting" something they can and do change with no warning because they simply want us to be in trouble.
When we use pronouns we are talking about someone, nine times out of ten that person is not in the same space we are in when we are talking about them. So it becomes extremely difficult to put words into a description of what a person looks like if we are using "They/them" or whatever people think up in describing themselves these days. It's the reason why names are far more important and easier to use. Communication needs to be not just clear but easy for people to understand. I'm not clear when i say "They is having a bad day" I'm clear when I say "Jane is having a bad day" if someone says "Jane from accounting?" and it isn't I can say "No Jane from admin". Language needs to have a simple version so we can all understand it.

A friend worked at a school which decided to add pronouns to teachers' ID badges. He said that his pronouns were The Fuck, The Fucker, and The Fucker's. When the school (for some reason) wouldn't go along with that, he just kept his old badge. At every staff meeting for the next year, he brought up the fact that he was being disrespected because he wasn't, unlike every other teacher, being allowed to use his prefered pronouns. The next years started with new badges being quietly issued - with no pronouns.
This whole alternating pronoun thing is something that is often done with fictional characters where the primary joke is that nobody knows what they are. I also had one that kept referring to my brother as "they" when I was getting him into the group and kept saying "him, he, my BROTHER."
I've cited multiple pronouns in sentences, like online for when I'm cross-promoting customers' pictures of items they bought from my shop. It literally feels like I'm writing a bibliography citation, even though I naturally picked up on it. I'm not doing it because I'm trying to not offend them, it's because I still want to use their usually VERY clearly obvious pronoun, but I know they're VERY clearly mentally confused (and usually VERY female presenting). Also this androgynous chick's explanation went on 10 times longer than it had to.
Here is my rebuttal (I did this IRL) _"Okay, if I submit to this and call you (insert "pronoun"), you must use my personal pronouns as well... You must refer to me as, "His Royal Majesty", "My Liege", and "Mi'Lord". I use your pronouns, you use mine!"_ That quickly shut down their nonsense.

No more. No more pronouns for anyone I'll refer to people with grunts or the objects I throw at them.
Ha, been doing that for years, it's much easier to avoid using pronouns all together than to learn all the new ones. Also been doing that for names, since I can't remember those either.

It’s human nature to automatically recognise men and women based on physical characteristics. Narcissism and delusion are not gonna change that.
That's why they want laws and forced compliance, hoping the gun in your back WILL change it.
And for good reason.
How the frick do these people think that we as mammals with a shitty sense of smell have otherwise been able to find compatible partners to continue our species, which directly resulted in said peoples existence? They're not even trying to hide their narcissism. They think the internet is on their side and can do their bidding so that makes them tough and bold in public😂
The main perk to all this is that when we see pronouns in someone's bio, we know to immediately disassociate ourselves from them.

I think the R word is Retarded.
Love that SugarTita bluntness. I could not have taken time in my life to watch that load of nonsense without your color commentary.
I live in the U.K.
The 🌈 cult is everywhere
Every time I’m personally introduced to one of these wackos and they tell me to use their pronouns, I just tell them straight up that’s not how pronouns work, and if they get pissy at me I just laugh at them 😂
Scooby Doo: Rorouns raren't real.
I am staring at these people with as much if not more confusion than y'all, and I am trans myself.
What. The fuck. Is with these people.
I'm just trying to be the She my body decided not to be, what the fuck are THOSE people on
I've prep a responce ready for them i let them tell me their pronouns, i then ask "will you respect my neo-pronoun?" then i make Yoko Ono level bullshit sounds. Well they are then stuck between a rock and a hard place either they have to make stupid noises everytime the refer to me or the can just let me use normal pronouns or option 3 i complain about them not using my pronouns/sexuality and get them fired.
@warriorofthewastelandrv9480 they are more real than some of these wackjobs' hair color.
Wrong move. The better move is to avoid them. And anybody friendly to them.
So she expects us to use the proper pronouns for someone who isn't part of the conversation or even in the room!
Examples: Slaanesh from 40k or Mangle from FNAF.
Yes, the "they/he" person is unironically advocating for being treated on the same level as an evil god or possessed feral robot.
Literally what all of these people are saying is "YOU WILL OBEY AND PLACATE ME"
"Please use my 5 different pronouns when talking to me"
"Why people misgender me ? And why the ones who doesn't make me feel they walk on eggshells ?"
But I am NOT talking to you. Go away and stop harassing me.
I have a DM that keeps switching out a character with "they" and "he." I don't know why, but he had another character who was an elf and was "non-binary," but in person he kept calling her "she" because it's unnatural. It is so damn confusing. I also had one that kept referring to my brother as "they" when I was getting him into the group and kept saying "him, he, my BROTHER."
When a new language is needed you know things have gone terribly wrong.
i’m so confused 😂
Hilarious SugarTits!! The mild contempt I feel toward these imbeciles is dwarfed by the raging scorn I have for those that play along.
seeing pronouns in their bio makes me default to the pronoun *"UNEMPLOYABLE"*
They forget that we don’t care what they prefer
The stuff you cover drives me to drink. *Sips chocolate milk*
Here is my rebuttal (I did this IRL)
_"Okay, if I submit to this and call you (insert "pronoun"), you must use my personal pronouns as well... You must refer to me as, "His Royal Majesty", "My Liege", and "Mi'Lord". I use your pronouns, you use mine!"_
That quickly shut down their nonsense.
Splendid use of reverse trickery mi'lord.
They always just assume that they’re the kind of people worth navigating a verbal minefield to have a relationship with. And to a woman (or man… but let’s face it. Most of the time these people are young women), the answer is always, “no.”
If you get triggered and insulted for no apparent reason, chances are you really NEEDED to be triggered and insulted to begin with!
Interesting Concept. Makes no sense at all, but it does show a mind set that needs investigation by medical professionals.
It was investigated long ago. Thinking you're something/someone you're not is classified as a sort of schizophrenia... Until it's not. Welcome to the 21st century.
Medical professionals are promoting this behavior because they all share the same beliefs.
@@thedude8526 they share the $$$, belief is optional.
Phrenologists. After extraction. Safest way to deal with a mind like that.
@@xhagast i don't know that that would reveal much , however it's worth a try.
Someone just needs to stop in this entity's face and say. ". No, I wont." and walk away.
The only "away" from it in 2023 is Russia, Africa, or some Islamic country.
@@adamprice3466 Nah just be as rude as you want and show people you dont g.a.f. Thats my practice, but then again, I'm told that I'm an asshole. But im okay with that.
