I live in Utah! If you guys are going to the Grand Canyon, you should consider coming up to Southern Utah to visit some awesome national parks. Zion's, Bryce Canyon, and Capitol Reef are all really great ones that are close. Lake Powell is also really fun.
i live in michigan and drove to california, total of 35 hours. i did it non stop, by myself and my 3 cats and their nasty litter box in the back. :D what a trip... theres alot of cool things to see along the way. and on the way back, i had my husband with me but was so over the long drives and just wanted to be done.

If you're going through OKC, you have to stop by Pops Arcadia! It's a diner, gas station and landmark and it has hundreds of sodas and a huge soda bottle statue in the front.

My friends and I just did a roadtrip up the coast of california from austin in a jeep liberty and it was incredible.... our longest derive was san francisco to el paso at a little over 16 hours, so worth it though. good luck!
I live in Anderson, IN! Indy is about 40 minutes away. You'll love the Grand Canyon! My family road tripped there one summer. Be prepared for New Mexico and Texas. Longest and boringest part of the drive. Also very limited rest stops lol
When I was 19 I walked across the grand canyon and had my friends drive around and pick me up on the north rim. It is 21 miles of hiking and you go down 1 mile in elevation and of course have to hike up hat mile on the morth rim. So if one of you guys has the balls then have your friends drop you off on the south rim and then pick you up on the north rim. It is a 350 mile drive. You'll have to take at least 2 gallons of water with you but you'll never forget it.
I live in Arizona & lowkey hate it here but Flagstaff is super cool & if you have the chance I highly suggest going to the Lowell Observatory. I'm really tempted to drive up to the Grand Canyon tomorrow to meet you guys lol

I live in Texas and when you get to Texas you have to find a bucee's they have EVERYTHING there and gas is cheap there too. It's sorta like a cross between a diner, a taco cart, a gas station,a produce stand, a clothing store, and a camping store. Its the best.
I live in Washington and in Seattle there is a place called uwajimaya. uwajimaya is a Asian store that has a food court and candy. You should really go.

Definitely hit up Carlsbad caverns if you are planning to drive through New Mexico it's really neat. Went there 3 summers ago.
