Be careful of snakes!!! Don't sleep in the clothes you had on during the day cause you will smell like food and animals will be attracted to it! Always have first aid things with you! -Never leave your food out, and at night make sure it's secure because there are plenty of critters who can open bags and boxes. -Always put a tarp under your tent, and roll up the edges UNDER the tarp (Not just under the tent) So if it rains your don't end up in a mini pool. -Angle stakes so the top is pointing away from your tent, making it harder for your tent or rain fly to get pulled out. -A couple dryer sheets can really help with a tent full of smelly men (Or so I'm told).
You should definitely make a stop at Yellowstone if you're not already. It's beautiful and there's lots of buffaloes and elk there. One of my favorite places I've camped. Also s'mores are a must. And another cool place near to Yellowstone is the small town of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. If you do camp in Yellowstone, be warned that it does get a little chilly in the morning. But go stop by old faithful and hike some trails!

I don't know what you guys were doing for dinner but when i went with my brother we got a little two burner stove with a propane tank and made hot dogs and grilled up a zucchini with some seasoning, it was so good, and we felt pretty ~outdoorsy~

Tip: keep some air freshener in the tent incase a) your friend farts and a mountain lion is preventing you from escaping the tent to get fresh air b) a large insect is in the tent and you have no fly spray to kill it
