Wonderful documentary, acknowledging the challenges that Deaf people face, often from the ignorance of hearing people. But also showing how with the right support and encouragement they can be proud of their identity and lead fulfilling lives. I'm an hearing Auslan (Australian Sign Language) signer; I feel so lucky and priviledged to be allowed to share parts of the Deaf community and have Deaf friends. I think it has made me a better person, to improve my understanding of their world.
I’ve just watched 6 minutes but I think this is a great documentary - and so sad. I’m so sorry about the horrible experiences people have had, and I hope they can forgive, heal, have much better experiences now, and help deaf children especially not to go through the same things.

Inspirational documentary. As someone who's not deaf it definitely gives you an insight into what it's like to be deaf at our current age.
