This performance is so nice. You can feel it in your heart. James do play a few really good solos. One of my favorites are the one in the soft part of Master of Puppets.
If you want to see more of James solo playing skills then I reccomend Suicide and redemption from death magnetic, especially the live version. First solo is James' Also their cover of Ecstasy of Gold is amazing, especially with James soloing live
James wrote the song, basically being home sick. It's a song that he wrote just for himself, to play in his room while on tour. He was afraid to show it to the other band members because it was too "soft". I believe he played it for Lars and Bob Rock and they both agreed it needed to be on the album.
Metallica's live sound guys and road crew have been with them since Q Prime Management got involved before the Master Of Puppets album was released 1986. Ya, that crew is still with them. They created every live stage every tour. The sound is way loud. Recorded live performances dont do it justice. And the pyro that once burned James? When that pyro goes off? You can feel the heat. James got burned badly and he will still stand right in front of those flames. James is a God.
