289: Lego Auspicious Dragon 2024 Review

- My very late Chinese New Year special, but just on time to make the last day I'm sure!
This year is the Year of the Dragon, and so, a Chinese Dragon is a must! And no better time than CNY. A very auspicious animal for the Chinese, this one is a representation by Lego. What an introduction to this incredibly popular pastime, and what a subject! A wonderful, happy, exciting experience for me, this dragon is showpiece worthy, capturing the characteristric features of the Chinese Dragon, while affording just that little bit of articulation for customization.

Thank you! Well I think of it as reviewing a dragon lol, which I at least know something about. Lego sets, I'm completely out of my depth! but it was really a very pleasant experience, and if in future they come out with something a little bit more realistic in dragons or dinosaurs, I would consider getting and reviewing one!

I had a Lego race car as a kid that my dad helped me put together, it even had a rubber band so it could be wound up and let go to race across the floor. Pretty sure I still have it somewhere... Though by now likely non-functional :P
Wonderful! I believe it is extremely valuable when something isn't just good in and of itself, but can bring people, especially loved ones together. They create memories that last long after they have stopped functioning perfectly 😊😊

You should check out the Jurassic World Lego t-Rex skull! Fairly affordable and surprisingly anatomically accurate.
