    Congratulations on being a brand ambassador for NIU. I use a rented e-bike for deliveries, but I have experienced some light knee problems in the last couple of weeks, which may come from some kind of overload of biking. I have some initial thoughts of I I may or may not upgrading to an e-scooter, and seeing your videos does bring the NIU brand into my mind, as well as other brands. So this relationship marketing NIU making you a brand ambassador does work to some extent. I just saw your video in which you presented the NIU app and the scooter you made last spring, and I wonder if you could make another video in which you review your scooter and reflect on how it has been using it for a year. I am aware as a brand ambassador you can't criticize the brand too much, but I would be interested to know how your batteries is holding up after a year, in case you use the same ones?

    Hey I was wondering how much insurance is are you able to provide a price range please?

  • @sie4431
    @sie4431 2 года назад

    Apparently if your state of charge is too high or low it can shorten the battery life. Keeping it between 20-80% is the recommendation for Li-Ion batteries. The main issue seems to be the time your battery spends at those SoC, if you charge to 100% just before you leave then it's not a problem but if you charge between 18-22:00 and then leave it at 100% overnight that could be a problem. If you have two batteries and are able to return home you'd probably be better off charging one battery while you're out if you think you're going to need it

    I dislike that it tracks you and uploads it to the cloud. Big red flag in the app at 5:11 "scooter is locked by remote command" seem like they could remotely shut down your scooter if "they" so choose. Seems like a good bike, but this app points to some creepy big bro shenanigans going on in the background. I would prefer to just have a bike without all the creepy Chinese tech and fit my own security. This rings too many alarm bells, so this is one to avoid for me unless they do a "Dumb" version of the bike without the GPS tracking and app connectivity BS.

    • @LondonEats
      @LondonEats  2 года назад +1

      The locking of remote command is a feature if your bike was to ever get stolen niu can shut down your scooter and prevent it from being used until its back in the rightful owners hands, the whole point of gps tracking is to follow where the bike is at all times, being worried about tracking from a company is not a worry now a days if you have a smart phone many apps know where you are with out you even knowing, if you was to get a niu you can just remove the tracking but this would probably void your warranty and also make your insurance more expensive
