"CK3AGOT is a total conversion mod set in the world of George R. R. Martin’s A Song of Ice and Fire fantasy saga, where lords great and small vie for control over the lands of Ice and Fire. The mod takes its name from the first book in the series, as well as the “game” of plots and politics the ambitious and hopeful are said to be playing in their struggles for supremacy."
"A Song of Ice and Fire (commonly abbreviated as ASoIaF) is an ongoing series of epic fantasy novels by American novelist and screenwriter George R. R. Martin. Martin began writing the series in 1991 and the first volume was published in 1996.
The story of A Song of Ice and Fire takes place in a fictional world, primarily on a continent called Westeros but also on a large landmass to the east, known as Essos. Most of the characters are human but as the series progresses others are introduced, such as the cold and menacing supernatural Others from the far North and fire-breathing dragons from the East, both thought to be extinct by the humans of the story. There are three principal story lines in the series: the chronicling of a dynastic civil war for control of Westeros among several competing families; the rising threat of the Others, who dwell beyond an immense wall of ice that forms Westeros' northern border; and the ambition of Daenerys Targaryen, the exiled daughter of a king who was murdered in another civil war fifteen years before, to return to Westeros and claim her rightful throne. As the series progresses, the three story lines become increasingly interwoven and dependent upon each other."
"Game of Thrones is an American fantasy drama television series created by David Benioff and D. B. Weiss for HBO. It is an adaptation of A Song of Ice and Fire, a series of fantasy novels by George R. R. Martin, the first of which is A Game of Thrones. Set on the fictional continents of Westeros and Essos, Game of Thrones has a large ensemble cast and follows several story arcs throughout the course of the show. The first major arc concerns the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros through a web of political conflicts among the noble families either vying to claim the throne or fighting for independence from whoever sits on it. A second focuses on the last descendant of the realm's deposed ruling dynasty, who has been exiled to Essos and is plotting to return and reclaim the throne. The third follows the Night's Watch, a military order defending the realm against threats from beyond Westeros's northern border."
Footage from Crusader Kings 3, Game of Thrones, and House of the Dragon used under fair use.

Which region should I explore next?
The Reach
Reach
The Riverlands
The riverlands
outside
Now, thanks to the magic of CK3, you too can live out Jon Connington’s dreams of committing war crimes at the Battle of the Bells!
And then you can relive the pain of Rhaegar not sleeping with you
@@mrelephant2283 I live that pain every day.
Lol😂

« The laughing storm » is by far the coolest nickname ever given.
It really is
House Wensington in the mod is actually a cadet branch of House Durrandon. So is House Bolling
I have a suggestion. Or a plea.
Can you do an explained video on cultures and religions of this mod? I would be delighted and think that many share this mindset.
Back in CK2, House Bolling was a Baratheon cadet branch while House Wensington is a Durrandon cadet branch
wasn't there also living durrandon is ck2? a baron if i recall
@TylerTR95 As far as I recall, no. There was a sister of Argilac the Arrogant that they later removed from the game. She was married to the Tyroshi Triarch
@@TylerTR95 You're thinking of the Bollings, they hold a barony in the county of Storm's End in the CK2 mod and they're made to be descendants of house Durrandon.
It doesn't make sense Boiling being a cadet of Baratheon since we know alk Baratheons of the time of Ser Theo Boiling and he is not mentioned with the Baratheons. Makes more sense as Durrandon branch
@pityko9662 It could be the other way, yeah. Haven't played CK2AGOT in awhile
"A Griffin, A Griffin" is the Connington battlecry but not the House words which haven't been officially revealed. However a german version of one of the books uses "A fierce foe, a faithful friend" as their words on a cover.
Ah interesting
I love GRRM for characters like Dick Straw. Truly inspiring story-telling.

On the defense of Peaseburry, many European castles and settlements have name after whatever was characteristical. For example: Oxford is named after Oxen, Kremnica(Som Slovák), is named after Limestone, then there is Písek in Czech republic, which literally means "Sand". And in cases of houses, House Vasa from Sweden is named after dated Swedish word for Sheaf of wheat.
Name Peaseburry sounds kinda normal in my eyes
When you were looking at House Rogers, the lord is named Harrold. The only in-canon member of House Rogers was a Ser Harrold, who married Branda Stark, the sister of Ned's mother.
I pray for your sanity when you do the North.
Or when he dares to travel through the Reach...

Reach and Westerlands probably be hardest as we know the least about them
As to the stupidity of the Peasebury sigil, a pea pod would fit better for a Reach house. But I like that the mod puts them on the western border of the Stormlands, because it means their lands could have originally been part of the Reach that was conquered by the Stormlands.
Such a nice association and compilation of all the Stormlords, would be nice to hear about the Riverlands or the Vale, the Reach seems like a huge challenge to tackle after this one so better warm up with other manageable Kingdoms.
The series are amazing, keep it up my man.
a video about the uneversity campaign would be cool, the halfmaester stuff sounded interesting
Please make that video about your ttrpg campaign - it might be a bit more niche, but it’s always a real joy to hear GMs reminisce about their games
If you click on the sigil of the bastard or cadet branches, it'll show you which house it's from. House Bolling and House Wensington are bastard or cadet branches of House Durrandon.
designing the family trees in this mod must take absolutely ages, especially getting looking for sources for rough visual descriptions and marriages
Was waiting for this! Love your content
"a Griffin! a Griffin" is just their battlecry, not their official house words.
Sorry to hear about the extra hour... Appreciate your work and you're defz my new favourite Ice & Fire channel. Aroha from Aotearoa/New Zealand
House herston isn't mentioned in the books but their sigil is, during a Brianne chapter where a character mentions he fought a lord with a chicken on his shield during the battle of the black water
Nice catch
@@fantasyhaven1 no worries it's such minor moment in the book im pretty sure Brianne closes the door on him before he can finish lol
Just a quick thought cause I'm only watching this now lol, Mary Mertyns can still be lowborn and it be logical cause when the golden company takes her castle her entire family is away, leaving her as the temporary lady in charge. I'll admit noble-lowborn marriages are quite rare in the canon but it's still possible and it'll be a cool counterpoint by the mod that a lowborn can be just as cunning and shrewd as a highborn.
Also, you forgot to mention Ravella Swann but no biggie
I was hoping he would mention the possible connection between House Brownhill(Dorne) and house Brownhil(Stormlands)
+1 algorithm engagement point for you ser. This series is going to be epic when it’s all done
Looking forward to the next video! And the next and the next! Vale🙏🏼
That house with a tortoise sigil and whose words are "The Great and Powerful" is pretty amusing lol
Amazing video!
Thanks!
Love the video, wondering when you are going to a Reach version?
Personally,I would absolutely love a video about your Asoiaf Dnd campaign
Might want to wait to do the Reach until Oldtown gets its unique model. It's apparently being worked on, though no clue if it'll be finished soon.
great video, thank you
Go for the Reach. They have sooo many houses.
I can’t wait for the Vale I really hope you highlight Wild Wyl Waynewood
Lord Harwood Fell fell (see the joke?) into a frozen lake during the march to Winterfell in the King's Prize chapter
"A Griffin! A Griffin!" is a traditional war cry of house Connington. Their words are unknown.
Time to simp for house Baratheon
Oooh yeees, cannot wait for the North!!!
I would love to see a video about your ASoIaF RPG campaign!
"He was last seen apie" LOL
Yesssss
The unicorns represent the children of oberon (90%sure) and the maze is a maze that the children (and presumably oberon himself) have to walk in order to obtain their power.
Lmao...."imagine going to battle with a bunch of peas"....haha
House wensington is an off shoot branch if the durrandons and house boiling is a bastards branch that split off much later then the wensingtons a few generations before aegins conquest according to the mod great video
Haven’t read Zelazy, but that looks more like 9 unicorns in the sigil…. 9 Princes in Amber…
The Reach vid will be 90 minutes long.
Do the westernlands next pls
great vid bro im doing a tarth playthru i just wish essos was added
Thanks
gidt rikt
In my curent playthrought (essos update) wagstaffs out of all people are on the irone throne lol
Lmao what
Wensington and Bolling are durrandon cadets in the mod
Please do the Reach!
I think in CK2 mod Wensingtons and Boilings are definetly cadet branch of Baratheon or Durrandon house
VALE next please
26:42 he did WHAT now? I don't think he would survive this haha. You probably meant Sansa
Yeah, I was wondering about that lol 😂
Do the RPG retelling. You did forget to mention that Tarth has some Targaryen ties.
I think a video on the asoiaf rpg could be cool.
Lol i always thought it was such a hilarious coincidence that Renly's kings guard was called the rainbow guard.😂 so Haven saying it's the gay version of the kings guard cracked me up😂
Rhaegar Frey, how've been last seen apie
😂😂😂
One thing I sort of dislike that they did is in the 2nd timestamp that you can play in they made Davos a lord, which doesn't happen until like the 3rd book, but they also gave him the wrong lordship if I remember correctly.
After the rebellion Davos was knighted and given a castle with lands, making him a landeed knight. And since the mod doesn't distinguish lords and landed knights he's a lord
We actually meet another dondarrion in the first dunk and egg novella
Cool
26:44 I think you mean Sansa?
The Estermont family tree makes sense if theorists weren't cowards and accepted that other family can be incestuous too. Lomas can be an uncle-cousin.
Wish you had brought up that Lord Harrold Roger is married to a Stark I wonder how that happened
had to take a double take when you said grimsby
10:21 The most recent mod update (to my knowledge) made it so the House's coat of arms get displayed on certain types of armor (western and HRE as far as I've seen) :)
I think house Morrigan is a refrence to Morgan Le Fay
The Morrigan is an Irish Goddess.
I for one think Stannace is valid.
I think they did it to ruin the symbol the show represented.
Think of how powerful a message the show is throughout history. It's pretty obvious to me why, Benioff and, Weiss would collapse the plot of such a moving and inspiring show, they realized it was not the image they wanted to send out. The fans say it themselves the show writers aren't dumb the early battles with the white walkers where sick. They tanked the match at the end, they threw, they took a dive.
As someone who is asexual you can absolutely make the argument for stannis
I didn’t realize asexuals all dicked down ancient mages
The people who did 99.9% of the work in this mod, did magnificent, as always. Problem is they had 1 or 2 'activists' that wanted to virtue signal, such as not being able to parse nuance and made Jon Snow bisexual over his comments on a pretty boy being thrown into the Knight's Watch. That relationship was supposed to be character development on Jon's part of 1) not judging a book by its cover 2) Not everyone in the Knight's Watch got there due to criminal behavior or electing to do so, like himself. Stannis being asexual is the same putting their own cognitive dissonance into the game and lastly 'The 'Resistance' which you can look up to see the backers of that cult.
I fucking love these vids
