I just installed the Excelon P-HD3FR on my 23 Street Glide, Super easy install, all plug and play and it sounds amazing! I have been a Kenwood fan since I bought my first car stereo in the early 80’s. Still make amazing products!

@101ktm01 For me, it does not sufficiently correct mid bass biased HD OEM radio of 2020 FLHXS. It is a shame because they are good otherwise. Mid bass hits my ear drums hard and it is a flaw I cannot live with. I plan to play with sensitivity knob a bit more.

@@BurntBarbeque Thanks mj, I ordered the kit as my stock Boom has a blown speaker and I thought this would improve the mediocre sound of the stock speakers on my 2020 FLTRX Road Glide with Boom system. appreciate the response.

@@BurntBarbequeI installed the fronts only with amp. Definitely better than stock. I agree that they lack the balanced sound you get with larger speakers capable of reaching all frequencies (especially low frequency) but I don’t regret installing them.

Would love to try this set up! Trying to find someone local to hear it first. Only think I'm skeptical on is the 160 watt amp. Does not seem like much power!

The amp is balanced between the limit of the bike's stator * 55 Amp Output* and the RMS requirements of the speakers. Overall the setup is tuned for the bike and produces great volume with clarity without overloading the small electrical systems on the bikes. Thanks!

Basically the same thing Hogtunes has done with some slight differences.
