- On this episode with Andy Herman, Perri discusses how they have processed and digested the Eagles game, how the defense stepped up, how the offense performed (underperformed), the WR room, Jordan Love, how disappointed we are in this loss, and where does the team go from here. Enjoy!!
Get well soon Maggie!
To hear Andy talk about recency bias for Love and the Packers in general and then hear him say Watson had an injury riddled season when he only missed two regular season games is pretty funny
Perri I thought it was safe to get his jersey too 😭 I got two jerseys (Aaron Jones too) on my first trip to Lambeau and they’ll both be gone now lol
#veryjealous
I love all your content GPG
I hope Matt hasn't loss the locker room. That could be a problem. But of course, I'm a Packer through and through and I will always believe in this team and organization. GO PACK GO!
Perri I'm with you regarding Ja. He's been my favorite Packer since day 1.
23:39 i said before last years draft we needed to draft a WR so we can stagger the contracts a lil better... no we got to go and overhaul the room n possibly get 2 WRs
17:49 i like the future/ potential of the defense but im a glass half empty/moneyball kinda guy... lets bring our floor higher... but im happy the sky is the ceiling
The main factor in all of our losses was lack of execution, turnovers, and penalties. It’s something that you gotta be focused on and trying your best to try to limit those kinds of mistakes. It’s disappointing but there was a lot of good things that this team did this year and there was a lot of things that they didn’t do as good on and they need to find ways on the things that they need to improve on for next season. I think the Green Bay Packers are a really good football team and there are things that they just hurt themselves in a lot of areas. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛
To Andy's point of signature wins- I think the Texans game was a true "signature" win as you defined it.
Disagree my man. Texans aren't nearly as good as advertised. Stroud is very up and down...kinda like love. Gb ain't there yet. Love needs to turn the corner for tgis team to succeed.
31:58 whats more important to draft/free agent this offseason ... WR, "EDGE", CB
If the Rams and Commanders from last week are real I have to pick them to be the ones to win this weekend. The Lions will be rusty and will make too many mistakes. The Eagles offense last weekend looked rusty and inefficient even though.
Runs from the shotgun are so obvious that a run is coming. Need to get back to playaction run/pass. Jordan has to dump off to Kraft more instead of lookin for the chunk play. Love needs to improve on his foot work in getting the ball out fast under pressure. When healthy, It's okay to run for a few yards if need be, Jordan doesn't like to run, he'd rather throw into coverage. We seen the talent, but the (mental) between the ears part has to improve...when to run, when to force the ball for a chunk play n when just to dump it off to get the first down. All that said, WRs gotta win n catch the ball.
In free agency I want Green Bay to get Reggie White, Sean Jones, and Frankie Winters.
Perri merri me.
They need a wr1 badly. I dont see watson coming back period. Doubs future playing in the nfl is in serious jeopardy. Yeah...they should go after some1. And a corner. I dont see ja coming back.
Yeah, you can't run rb's 30 times and Love all of a sudden has to make a comeback at the end of the game w/o any kind flow or rhythm. Zero qb's do this.
If you need to go back to last season to make yourself feel better? Then by all means. Think youre selling some hopium here. They have talent yes, but i dont think its coached well along with loves regression this yr. Im sure ill hear "he was hurt all yr" and my retort is well, if youre goid enough to play, i dont want excuses.
Love stinks.
