I am definatly only a noob when it comes to classical music, I have always worshipped all forms of music, and have only recently found myself spending my evenings listening to classical pieces, so please go easy on me, but this, especially the introduction, reminded me of Danse Macabre rather greatly, which i also only discovered recently. Has anyone else found a similar comparison? If not please feel free to educate me haha...
oh man, for me there is a BIG diference, i wouldnt even compare shcnittke to saint saens. its ok to be a noob, i still a noob... this composer uses atonalism a lot, thats why he is so different from camille, this is more like music of fear and rage and belongs to other time in the history
@kratoserick Come on, this music is quite an acquired taste, just try to introduce as many people as you can to this music, and it will gain in popularity!
