a big difference between G2 and G1 is M.2 nvme support instead of M.2 sata, for faster ssd

I got myself a HP Elitebook 8470p which I upgraded the CPU to a quad Core i7 and 8GB RAM. Really nice fast laptop :) even better that I have an ATI GPU too ;D
Yeah, thats great, APU´s are not always the best thing...

I have a g1 840 too, i just noticed you have a wwan lte card installed .. u can insert sim in g1 under the battery and use lte just like g3. (You will have to take the battery out on g1 to install sim)

Not really, i had Win10 already on my G1, but for my work i prefer Win7.

Yes cooling is here very good, price is about 300-600€ used, but it conforms in witch condition and how big the storage is.
So there is no fiscal difference between g1 and g2 😳?..

It's my first time having an hp laptop. I need to upgrade the ssd on an 820 g1. Is the ssd on 840 compatible with 820?
Yes, it is, maybe need to install some drivers but if you have Win 10 it's all cool

Hello No, you can't upgrade it. The only thing that could work, is a extremal GPU, just like here:

Ich habe mir heute ein gebrauchtes G3 mit I7 6600 und 16GB ram geholt, habe 350 bezahlt bei einem türkischen PC Händler.
Was ich fragen wollte, der Akku ist ziemlich aufgebraucht. Sprich, er hält vielleicht noch ne Stunde im Gaming Betrieb, den wollte ich gerne tauschen.
Sollte ich lieber einen originalen Akku nehmen, weil ich sehe du hast auch die originalen drin, oder ist es okay wenn ich mir einen 4400 mah mit 48 Watt zulege ? Wo bestehen die Risiken bei nachgemachten Akkus ?

G3 is not that better as the G1 just nicer maybe. If you can get them with an i7, than it's great, but also very expensive... for programming should be no problem. Best Regards

@@aminebi1633 Better than the i5. But if you like real power you should go for a PC not a notebook. A nice AMD Ryzen with a lot cores is good for coding or rendering. My old DV7 with an i7 840qm is faster on rendering as my 840 G1. The reason is because my older i7 has 4 cores with 8 threads, the 840 G1 has only 2 Cores with 4 threads. More Cores, more workers, more power! I do soon a video about that, i wanted to show that long ago.
You can find the sim card slot for the G1 in side the laptop 😂

no, thes ehp books are more for business, they don;t have good graphics for games, but you can play simple games fine

@@NSC-Modz yep i5 or i7 with 8gb ram is alright for gaming but the gpu is a problem yeah it migth loading screen of the game migth be fast but graphics and fps is terrible and the 128gb ssd is always full and cant put any games on it so i bougth a sdxc card which did the trick i was able to play genshin impact on it on the lowest possible graphics on full screen it looks really bad probebly worse than if you played it on a cellphone
