I'm new to Ado, but she's rapidly become one of my favourite vocalists. You absolutely have to check out the live version of Unravel. Absolutely incredible!

Unravel by TK. It is an anime theme from the anime tokyo ghoul. But The live cover was out of this world. She took that song (btw really hard to sing) and made it her own.
Ado is 21 years old woman she was popular in the japanese internet for her covers. She skyrocketed to mainstream fame in asia after her first Original song called Usseewa in 2020. (which is slang for shut up.) It was released a day before her 18th birthday. She has never revealed her face😊
For reference, the bass player for this song is Ue-chan from Maximum the Hormone.

I knew you would love her Voice. Please check out her Song " Show " guess this is the most crazy one so far and is much much better than Backlight. Written by Giga and arranged by Teddyloid. There is a great Live Version as well on Ado´s YT Chanel. J-Pop has so many different Styles and me being more of a Metal-Head realised , when checking out the Top 100 Billboard 2023 of Japan last Week, that I have 15 of these Tracks on my Playlist 😂😂😂Not a single one from the West .

As a sidenote and I know this is gonna come off weird, but it always makes me wonder when people say "It's an anime track", because that basically tells you nothing at all. Anime is not a genre it's a medium. They can have as much in common as a Film Noir, a romantic comedy and some over-the-top Hollywood action flick. There's moving pictures involved, that's it for similarities :)

P.s Ado is one of the best female vocalists in Japan- famous for her incredible vocal gymnastics and ability to flip between dozens of styles in split seconds- and for her famous gritty vocals.
She is very young!
That is how screaming should sit in a mix - not some bloke constantly growling about death and destruction.
This is deployed sparingly, with maximum dramatic effect. Love it!

Ado is very versatile, so i recommend checking some other songs from her. for something with a more "traditional" singing style, "the World's Continuation" (from the same anime) is good. but if you want something heavier, her cover of Unravel by TK or her cover of Crime and Punishment by Sheena Ringo are also amazing. her cover of "God-ish" really shows off her versatility too!!

When people play with the idea of who they would have in their Japanese all star band. ADO will often get mentioned as the best vocalist. Worth listening to her catalogue of music as it is lovely and varied and unusual.

@@markabusireactions In a similar vein you might want to check out an artist named cluppo and their song 'Voice'. There's a backstory to the artist that I think you would enjoy but I highly recommend that you go into the song completely blind without looking up any info about the artist or the song ahead of time.

@@markabusireactions Anime reactions would be cool. Attack On Titan is the best one IMO but there’s many seasons (at least the anime is over).
Another favorite of mine is Bocchi The Rock, it’s about music and social anxiety. It’s quite recent and only has one season for now.

Ado's songs are top tier, unquestioningly. Though, it's honestly surprising how good anime songs can be, if you look into them. But, up to you what you wish to listen to.^_^
I usually call this one The Pretty Reckless song from the album

Ado is fucking brilliant and Unravel live definitely is her masterpiece so far. That's why I'd recommend to save it for later and go through her other stuff first. And also give the original by TK a shot first, that's already a great version.

Not watching anime is the same as saying you dont watch movies or read. Its silly- its just a medium- with the same range of experiences and quality as books or movies. You shouldnt dismiss it just because its drawn- especially as i see your a gamer! And as for anime music- that preconvieved idea of anime music is also nonsense lol- its just as varied as japanese music is- from rock to pop to punk to classical and everything inbetween- with some incredible music in all genres. The only thing you can say for sure about anime music- is if theres singing there's a good chance it will be in japanese lol. (But not always!)
p,s no idea where you got this idea anime music was insane all over the place metal lol.. what, just because the one anime clip you ever saw was? Metal makes a pretty small % of anime music!

@@markabusireactionsAlways nice to keep an open mind- but just to be clear, liking or not liking an anime series or film is down to the quality and individual merits or each- and your tastes - not that its anime. You need to focus on the types of things youd like if it was live action in terms of story or feel - not just whatever anime everyone is currently raving about. And just like with movies and books plenty of anime is naff or kinda average - you still need to find the really well done stuff that would also appeal.
I get that anime has a stigma and I think it's completely fair... and honestly it's accurate more often than not... but I would have never found Band-Maid if they didn't do the opening for Log Horizon 3.
While I think you could potentially react to music-adjacent or even non-music related things, reacting to anime specifically would probably not do well on your channel for several reasons. The most important reason is that generally anime is a premium product and which would immediately draw claims/strikes against your channel... but even if you got past that problem, you're looking at typical commitment of 12+ episodes, ~24 minutes each. That's almost a week's worth of music reactions per episode for content that I expect would be alienating to a large percentage of your current audience... and then even the anime fans, the community is very fractured these days, there probably wouldn't be a lot of agreement on what we'd think is worth your time... and even then, more likely than not, you don't like it... and like, with a music reaction, that's kinda fine, but with an anime, or anything really that requires a longer commitment time, people would just want to argue about why you opinion is "wrong" and how you didn't give the anime a chance or whatever. Unless you actually have an interest in anime, I'd just completely avoid it.
...that said... if you WERE going to watch an anime...
...don't let those fucking weebs bait you into watching K-On or Bocchi the Rock.
Consider Cowboy Bebop, if nothing else but for its soundtrack. Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood is one I recommend to everybody, but it's kind of long to try to do reactions to.
