Thank you for all the good info! I'm hoping that Stacey Johnson is able to replace/improve the current master plan, as it obviously has its flaws. Stacey Johnson is heavily involved in the AZA jaguar SSP, so it'll be interesting to see if he brings jaguars to Roger Williams in the future
I miss going there. This was my childhood zoo when I lived there. Still one of my favorites. Now in Florida, while I still have some great local Zoos like ZooTampa, Busch Gardens Tampa and Disney’s Animal Kingdom, I still miss Roger Williams Park Zoo, any time I go back to RI, I have to go there.
Basically still under construction though they did seem to put the bamboo back up inside the enclosure separating the holding building from the exhibit.
