«For me Tihiy was like an Achilles». Commander of the “Honor” Company, Oleksandr Yabchanka 🇺🇦

Junior Sergeant Oleksiy Naida, call sign Tihiy, was killed on July 19, 2023, in a firefight during the assault on enemy positions near the village of Lyman Pershyi in Kharkiv Oblast. On August 1 2023, the warrior would have turned 27 years old.
Oleksiy was born in Kyiv. He received his education there. He was passionate about sports throughout his life and was constantly involved in them, reaching a professional level. He was a boxer and a coach at the "Kozak" club, a Master of Sports of Ukraine in boxing. He was also a Ukrainian freestyle fighting champion. Since 2021, he worked as a Blockchain developer at the IT company "1000GEEKS."
From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he volunteered to defend the capital from occupiers. As part of the artillery unit, he led a group providing security and protection during combat duty on the outskirts of the city of Irpin. Later, he defended Ukraine in the ranks of the 67th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He was a fighter of the "Honor" company of the 1st Separate Mechanized Battalion "Da Vinci Wolves." He fought in Donetsk, Luhansk, and Kharkiv Oblasts. He was awarded the "Cross of Bravery" for his participation in the liberation of Kharkiv Oblast.
"Tihiy was a true warrior, friend, father, and example for many. He never missed any operation in which his unit participated. Few can do even half of what Tihiy achieved in his 27 years of life," his friend Volodymyr Kovalenko said.
